Re: All-Pro Post Patch Sliders

OK talk about a game mimicking life. Adrian Peterson had a career game against the Bears (go figure).

Vikings(me) vs Bears
49-28 win

Passing:

MIN Jackson 15-29 208 Yards 1 TD 3 INT
CHI Griese 15-31 282 Yards 3 TD 3 INT

Rushing:

MIN Peterson 35 Attempts 200 yards 3 TD 5.7 YPC (95 Yd Kickoff TD also)
CHI Benson 19 Attempts 47 yards 2.4 YPC

Receiving:

MIN Wade 3 receptions 46 yards 1 TD 15.3 AVG
CHI Berrian 2 receptions 129 Yards 2 TD 64.5 AVG

Peterson tore it up in this game (just like he did in real life vs the bears) The score got a bit run up. 75 Plays for me and 54 for the Bears totaling out at 129. Realsitic playcount but still a tad much for this game. I will be going to 7 minutes from now on and will test from there.

Vikings(me) 4-1 vs Cowboys 3-3
34-21 win

Passing:

MIN Jackson 12-20 198 Yards 1 INT
DAL Romo 24-36 351 Yards 3 TD 2 INT

Rushing:

MIN Peterson 28 Attempts 158 yards 2 TD 5.6 YPC
DAL Jones 17 Attempts 78 yards 4.5 YPC

Receiving:

MIN Wade 3 receptions 52 yards 17.3 AVG
DAL Crayton 5 receptions 120 yards 1 TD 24.0 AVG
DAL Owens 9 receptions 95 Yards 2 TD 10.5 AVG

I started off by throwing up 24 unanswered points in the first and beginning of the 2nd. After that Romo started looking away from TO (whom I was double teaming the whole time) and started nailing Crayton deep. It was a fairly good game but I didn't feel the T.O. threat really except one spectacular catch in the corner of the endzone from a post route.

Vikings(me) 5-1 vs Eagles 5-1
44-41 Loss

Passing:

MIN Jackson 12-21 156 Yards
DAL McNabb 19-26 307 Yards 5 TD 1 INT

Rushing:

MIN Peterson 30 Attempts 232 yards 5 TD 7.7 YPC
DAL Jones 19 Attempts 107 yards 5.6 YPC

Receiving:

MIN Taylor 3 receptions 50 yards 16.6 AVG
DAL Brown 7 receptions 92 yards 2 TD 13.1 AVG

This game went into overtime tied 41-41. I got the ball first but couldn't do anything against the relentless inside blitz (shut down my run game and I never got a passing game going so I was screwed). They got the ball on the 20 and continued to pound the ball and work the quick routes to an eventual 35 yard field goal for the win. Epic game but I'm still pissed that I've yet to beat the Eagles

Re: All-Pro Post Patch Sliders

Right now,I'm still using the original sliders with the only change being CPU accuracy at 67 instead of 70.I'm also leaning toward jacking up cpu awareness around 5 points.

You're having a lot of shootouts. I'm thinking we need to tweak the CPU def, probably bump their awareness and tackling to get your YPC down in the 3-4s. Stats look pretty good, just a little excessive totals. Do you know some good Substitution settings to get the backups more carries?

Re: All-Pro Post Patch Sliders

I'm using NJPapi's set of sub settings. And BTW I had a game against the Chargers (Don't have stats cause I got tired of posting them). I turned the time down to 7 minutes (was the first game that I'd done it) and final score was 21-17 win for the Chargers.

Lately I've found Peterson busting out some HUGE runs early and then getting stuffed mid/late game.

Re: All-Pro Post Patch Sliders

Just played an interesting game with the updated version of these sliders.

First game of Redskins franchise. I lost to the Dolphins on a last second field goal: 34-37

The bad news, Portis broke his ribs and will be out for 7 weeks - both bad for the team, and will make testing these sliders not quite the same since I'll be using my backup RB for the next 7 games.

Here are the stats

MIA/WAS

Total offense: 333/408
Rushing yards: 163/187
Passing Yards: 170/221
First downs: 12/24
Turnovers: 2/6
3rd downs: 6-15/6-12
Penalties: 3-25/2-25
Sacks: 3/1

Campbell: 16/28 169 yds, 2td 2int, 1 fumble (got injured for 1 quarter)
Green: 21/37 173 yds, 1td 2 int
Brunell: 6/12 67 yds, 1td 2int

Portis: 27 attempts 132yds, 1 fumble, 14 broken tackles
Brown: 22 attempts 148yds, 16 broken tackles

I feel like since the break block slider is different for the Human and CPU, that the CPU has an advantage on Kick Returns. Why exactly do you have those sliders different for human and CPU?

The running game felt pretty good, but clearly there were too many broken tackles. And too many yards gained for both CPU and Human. Advice?

Passing also felt pretty good, but passing %s were a bit low, and more INTs than I would like. I think I will raise Humans Defensive awareness so my players are a bit less stupid, and maybe lower Knockdowns on both sides so theres less INTs.

The game was very exciting, but I think I'll need to be making some adjustments.

Re: All-Pro Post Patch Sliders

Try using the original sliders with cpu accuracy at 65 and knockdowns for both teams 5 points higher.I found this set to be great
