Re: All-Pro Post Patch Sliders

Woah, with my edits, the Giants threw 0 INTs against me :O

I've never played a game of madden where the cpu didn't throw an interception.

Only problem is I threw 4 INTs.

Edits I made: Tackline to 40 (both cpu and human)
Human def awr +5
Human knockdown -15, CPU knockdown - 10

I like those edits. Increasing tackling will make the defense not only finish more tackles but also seems to make them take better angles

Def Awareness i think decreases the amount of time the defense takes to recognize the play as well as to make plays on the ball and in coverage

Decreasing knockdowns will help open up some of the passing game and maybe have some affect on decreasing interceptions

I'll try a game tonight with some of updated sliders and i will post them

Re: All-Pro Post Patch Sliders

I've actually got CPU knockdowns at 0, and human knockdowns at 5, I believe.

I may have to lower CPU Awareness to decrease my Human thrown interceptions, but I need to test some more. E. Manning threw 73% I think, so I may need to readjust. It's tough. McNabb throws 5 INTs against me, so I lower knockdowns by 5, and then Manning throws 0 but goes for 73%.

I agree with you. I'm going to lower knk downs and cpu awareness, but turn up cpu tackle so that the running game stays tough. I just want to open up the human passing game some. It seems like linebackers are making some super human knockdowns. I want to be able to lob the ball over the LBs without worrying about them making some crazy plays.

I'm leaning towards putting CPU Aware down to like 70 or 75, turning down CPU knk down to 0, but turning up CPU tackle to 45.

What do you think?

My current set now looks like this

Hum/CPU
qb acc 60 65
pass blk 85 50
wr catch 60 55
rb abil 50 65
run blk 0 30

awr 10 75
knk 10 0
int 0 0
brk blk 0 30
tackle 30 45

Good idea. I'm about to test a game with CPU Aware at 75. Ill post my edits and stats after the game.

May I ask why you put break block different for cpu and human?

Re: All-Pro Post Patch Sliders

My goodness. The Lions just beat me (Redskins) 57 - 7. I didn't even score until the 4th quarter, thanks to a missed field goal in the 3rd quarter.

It was just a horrible game. I had 8 turnovers. Randel El fumbled a punt and the Lions returned it for a TD. Plus, Ladell Betts fumbled twice, once on the Lions 4 yd line.

Kitna threw 25/33 (75%) with 4 td and 1 int
Campbell threw 10/27 with 5 ints

To fix this I think I will raise Human Def Aware by 5 points, and lower the CPU Def Aware by 5 points. Raising Human Def Aware will hopefully lower the CPU pass%, and help my players be less stupid. I hate seeing them run away fromt he ball carrier, or just strafe and not go for the tackle.

The running game is pretty realistic. K. Jones rushed for 120 yds on 30 attempts, 4.0 ypc
Ladell Betts rushed for 63 yds on 18 attempts, 3.5 ypc

Here are the sliders I will eb usign to test int he next game, after the 2 edits I am making (which I already described)

qb acc 60 65
pass blk 85 40
wr catch 70 60
rb abil 50 65
run blk 0 25

awr 15 70
knk 10 0
int 0 0
brk blk 0 30
tackle 40 40

I see you have changed WR catch, and lowered CPU pass block.
I may raise Hum pass blk, sicne the CPU keeps getting more sacks on me than I get on the CPU.
Why did you change WR catch? I'm seeing a fair number of drops with it at 70 60

I lowered WR catch to lower the completion %. I have been getting sacked a lot to so I might nudge Hum Pass Blk up a notch. Let me know how the 15/70 Def Awareness combo works. Looks like the CPU was pissed last game. Hopefully they aren't all blowouts.
