Quick Question: With these sliders (and especially with the cpu qb acc at 100) does the cpu attempt to throw long every once in a while?

I'm thinking these are pretty much the final base set. We can all adjust a little here and there for are playing style but the base is quite solid as is. Unless DanSF has come up with anything new. I turn weapons off personally.

I play with them on and still brilliant so you may be able to do either.

I tried these out and thought they played pretty well. I was pretty happy with everything except the CPU passing game.

Playing as the Raiders against the Browns, Derek Anderson just lit me up. He hit on about 80 percent of his passes, and I could not do a thing to stop him.

A big part of the problem is my total inability to generate a pass rush. Unless I blitz, I cannot get past the OL with any of my defensive lineman. Power move, finesse move, I can't get past the blockers. He could sit in the pocket with all day to throw.

Any suggestions? Would lowering the CPU pass blocking throw things off?? I would think that if put some pressure on the CPU QB it would force some off target throws and a few incompletions.

I liked the feel of the sliders for the most part and am thinking about going with them for my franchise.

Well the Browns do have a great offensive line while the Raiders have a average defensive line...

I'm going to try playing with weapons off. Some of the weapon players still seem to be super-human (mainly the Corners)... but the game is playing much better.

Madden needs to do something about the stupid holding penalties. I just feel like it should be one of those things where if we lived in a more perfect world... Offensive Lineman don't hold. So many TD's have been taken away from me because of it.

This nags me as much as the inclusion of mistake-calls by refs or umpires in baseball games. Why do I want human error in a game that is computerized? I don't want miss-calls. The computer refs should be PERFECT because they are computers.

Same thing with holding. It's computer controlled. So why the hell do I get penalized for it!?
