Re: Length of Game

I am using 7 min quarters. I tried 10 min and I won a game 70-40. I won a game 21-16 on 7 with 250 passing yards. I use myskill. I need to get better at running because I can't get more than 10 yards with my RB.

Re: Length of Game

For people with XBOX or PS2, play on 12 minute quarters with accelerated clock on.

Re: Length of Game

Is there a way to change quarter length in franchise mode? I can't find it.

Re: Length of Game

I'm looking to have an average number of Plays from Scrimmage in my games. I don't care how long the games take.

My understanding is that the average number of Plays from Scrimmage is about 120/game.

So how many Minutes per Quarter will get me this result? I've only played one game so far.... 10 min quarters, and I had about 140 Plays from Scrimmage .... so I'm thinking 9 min quarters may be my answer.

Re: Length of Game

I'm doing 11 minute quarters and getting about 60 plays per team.

To make any adjustments in your franchise like qtr length, skill level etc. You have to back out of your franchise(make sure to save lol) then goto the main screen and goto my madden....setting or skill level and change it and save again then load up ur franchise........atleast thats the only way I know how to do this

Re: Length of Game

I play 9 minute quarters and get about 100-110 plays per game.....I usually skip all the cutscenes and pick my plays as fast as possible when I have the ball.....However, when the CPU has the ball, I just let everything play out and I wait for them to pick and CONFIRM their play(when you see the timer for you to pick your defensive play).

I just do this so the CPU can maximize their T.O.P. because they already snap the ball in under 1 second.....

Re: Length of Game

I only play User vs. User games... 7 minute quarters for those are pretty damn legit.

Remember, all the penalty sliders should be at 95.
