Hmm... I'll try using my GH controller. That should work.

Actually, he is correct. Its the same way in NCAA...if you hamper a given ability (say Rushing) your running backs use a slightly different version (see: slower) of the running animation. In NCAA if you set the Human sliders for running ability to 40, its a much less natural running animation, if you set them up to 45, the runner takes a full stride...it's completely different. You will also see a different running animation if your backs or receivers are over a certain weight (I think its either 215 or 220lbs), ala Brandon Jacobs nice long strides.

Most animations are unaffected, like tackling etc...its just the running animations (as far as I can tell) that are impacted by sliders below a certain number (40 for NCAA), it slows the backs, receivers down once you get below a certain setting.

Re: NJPapi's Madden 09 Post Patch (2) Profile Custom Sliders (360 and PS3)

I just played my first game with the base sliders listed on the first page and well they are better then what I had before but their not perfect either. I played as the Jets against the Redskins. Final Score was Jets(me) 25 Redskins(cpu) 3. Here are the stats:

Team Stats:
Total offense: cpu 215 | me 282
Rushing Yards: cpu 47 | me 66
Passing yards: cpu 168 | me 216
First Downs: cpu 12 | me 16
PR yards: cpu 12 | me 24
KR Yards: cpu 135 | me 84
Total yards: cpu 362 | me 390
Turnovers: cpu 3(-2)| me 1(+2)
3rd Down Conv. cpu 1-11(9%) | me 6-16(37%)
4th Down Conv. cpu 2-4(50%) | me 1-1(100%)
Red zone %: cpu 0-2 | me 5-5
Penalties: cpu 2-25 | me 2-10
Posssession Time: cpu 15:00 | me 25:00

Player Stats:
Brett Favre: 74.9 for 217 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. 19-33 57%
Jason Campbell: 49.0 168 yards with 0 TD and 2 INT. 23-38 60%

Campbell's first INT and my int were both bad passes. Campbell's 2nd int was something you would see on tv. DT deflected the ball and my linebacker picked it off.

Clinton Portis 47 yards on 17 carries. 2.7 average with 1 fumble.
Thomas Jones 37 yards 1 TD on 21 carries. 1.7 average.
Leon Washington 22 yards on 10 carries 2.2 average with 1fumble.
Tony Richardson 7 yards on 3 carries. 2.3 average.

Jason Taylor had the only sack in the game.

Mike Nugent was 3 for 3 and Shaun Suisham was 1 for 2.

I blocked a punt in the endzone to get a saftey which was pritty cool. I never done that before.

Re: NJPapi's Madden 09 Post Patch (2) Profile Custom Sliders (360 and PS3)

i got to say that i really had a blast with these sliders. a very close and fun game. i thought i had run away with it in the beginning with it being 21-3 in the first half, but they came back to an ending game of 21-17. i won. the only issue i have is all the sacks. i had 6 total and they had 6 total. and the rushing was a little low on my end. i'll post the stats

Cowboys(CPU) @ Colts(Me)

QB Passing:
P.Manning 24/37 256Yds 2 TD 1 INT
T.Romo 21/32 182Yds 1 INT

Rushing:
J.Addai 16 Att. for 16 yards. 1 YPC :/ ((got to work on that or adjust sliders)) 1 TD 1 Fumble
M.Barber 22 Att. for 84 Yards 1 TD

Recieving:
J.Addai: 12 Rec for 73 Yards
S.Hurd 7 Rec for 67 Yards
T.Owens 4 for 48 Yards
D.Asomashodu 3 for 29 Yards
A.Gonzalez 3 for 107 Yards

You have a great piont, but even in NFL there are great inconsistancies. What it comes down to is that EA is taking advantage of the fans and the AI is just broken and needs to be patched emediately!
