I had started developing sliders in the "Wii Sliders?" thread and now have settled on a set that has been working well for me. These sliders are always in development, but here is my current set:

Thanks for the sliders. I just got the game and am still tinkering but this will help with the experience.
I did notice a lot of face mask penalties so I am glad to see that you lowered that slider even more than I did,

I've played 9 weeks and am sitting at 5 and 4 with these sliders as the Steelers. Some blowouts both ways and some close games. Overall I'm getting a great variety of game with these and hope they work for you as well.

Once my season is complete I'm going to post my season stats here. I hope that these serve as a great starting point for your sliders as well!

I played my first game with these and it was a much different game then my first.
I had a very tough time with the offense so I will need more practice.
I will lower the face mask penalty again since I still saw that a few times.
The human FG accuracy is tough. I missed 2 fg's but thats what makes the game challenging

After finishing the 2008 season at 9 - 7 and making a Wild Card run to the Super Bowl, I came back in 2009 even stronger to post a 13 - 3 record and home field advantage through the playoffs. I lost no players to retirement after 2008 and still had a fairly young core, so I was able to concentrate on my O-Line drafting 2 in my first two rounds. I also snagged a KR in the 6th that sparked my Special Teams.

Based on the stats and observations of the full season, I am making the following tweaks to my slider set:

DEF INT +2 for both Human and CPU
HUM RB ABILITY -1
CPU RB BLOCK +2
CPU PASS BLOCK +2
CPU QB ACCURACY -1
CPU WR CATCH -1
HUM WR CATCH +1

The changes are reflected in the original post!

Slightly off-topic but Wii-related, do you guys that play Madden on Wii A) get tired of the controls ever and B) find that in terms of gameplay, it plays better than the 360/PS3 versions?

I'm intrigued by the Wii controls but don't know if I could play that way for multiple seasons.
