Team Sliders - Week 17 Update

Here are the updated sliders thru this week of the NFL Season.

- I only play No-Switch on Defense, I pick 1 player each play and follow his assignment with no switching players during the play.

- I use Madden to call my plays on both offense and defense, but I allow myself to pick from any of the 4 plays he picks. But I do make my own decisions on 4th down, because of his idiotic way of wanting you to punt when you are in field goal range.

** Here is the big one, this is the way to use these. You only enter the sliders in for the team you are playing. So if you are using the Jets (Human) aganist the Titans (CPU) you enter in the sliders that are on the sheet for the Titans. Believe me guys this works. **

GAMEPLAY SETTINGS

Penalties - Default
Quarter Length - Usually 8 minutes
Sub-In and Out - I will have to check that out I dont remember.

Special Teams
FG Power - 55
FG Acc -0
Punt Power - 60
Punt Acc - 100
KO Power - 60

I will post another update next week which will be the Final Update of the Season

Please pardon my ignorance, but could you explain how I set these settings to the team I am playing?

I know if I am playing KC vs New England , I'm KC, I need to set the numbers for New England, but I do not know how that is done.

Start your game. After the coin toss hit pause. Select settings/game skill. Scroll down to passing and hit A. Enter the values on the spreadsheet and hit B. Do the same for the other categories. Have fun!

Hey Dan, I don't mean to be a nuisance, but did you ever check on those substitution sliders?

First off thanks foe your hard work and effort to bring some form of SIM to this game.If its not to much to bother,I understnad how you came up with the sliders,but I dont' undertand wee it says "1 Level of (2), 10 Levels of (3)-2 point levels"?...that part lost me....I plan to use these til Madden 10' comes out....thanks again.

Alright here is what it means. If the sliders are set from say 0-20. The top 2 teams would get a slider of 0, the next 3 a slider of 2, the next 3 a slider of 4 ..... on and on till you hit 20.
