12 Minute Quarters, 15 second run off?

Is this basically what everyone who likes to have real stats and accurate amount of plays is playing with?

15 minutes with 20 second run off is what I like vs humans. 15 minute with 15 second for CPU as I want a tad more time to evaluate the opponent.

Both give me realistic plays per game.

Do you see the cpu quarterbacks quick snap with 12 mins and 15 seconds run off. I have read other threads where the quick snap is back but only with accelerated clock on.

I was on 12 but I'm going to switch to 13 with a 15 sec run off.

How long do the games take? I'm looking to play a game with an accurate amount of plays, realistic stats (I want to get a decent amount of tackles for a change), and to have the game done in an hour or less. Can anyone tell me what the best settings would be for that?

most realistic stats i've had yet are 11 mins, 15 sec run off. in your case, if you want shorter games, try 20 sec run off.

How about 8 minutes with no Accel on? I hate the acceleration..

Re: 12 Minute Quarters, 15 second run off?

Most Realistic Stats I've gotten so far were on 12 min, 15 run off. Here's why:

In the NFL the average plays each team run are around the 50-60s. One team might have 63 while the other would have 55. That's what I've been getting. Once you know how many plays your going to average a game. You then start getting realistic stats, far as carries, pass attempts, tackles, and etc.

Even works with the CPU. I simulated a season. Adrian Peterson lead rushing with 1685 yards and Michael Turner behind him with 1600+ and after him Deangelo Williams with 1400+. Only thing that were slightly off were the touchdowns were most of them had around 9-10 TDs. Didn't see any 17,15s.

To fix the amount of Touchdowns I might have to fix the sliders, maybe the RB ability, broken tackles, not sure.

As far as passing Tom Brady led it with 4500 and and 49 TDs.

As far as Tackles Demeco Ryans(MLB for Texans) led it with 150 something tackles I believe.
