Re: DB's Sliders to help Oline Pancakes

Played two games using these sliders and game settings. 75 Speed threshhold is the best so far in my opinion. Stats from my 2 games so far with the Broncos

Denver 42 @ Cincy 14
Total Plays: 69 57
Passing Yards: 331 229
Kyle Orton: 101.8 23/35 338yds 3td 2 Int Carson Palmer:88.4 18/35 205 2td 0int
Rushing Yards: 140 24
Moreno: 25 - 113yds 3td 4bt Benson: 19 - 16yds 0td 4bt
Receiveing:
Marshall: 6-60yd-15YAC-0drop Ochocinco: 5-63yd-7YAC-0d
Royal: 6-124yd-2td-24YAC-0d Coles: 5-54yd-8YAC-0d
Moreno: 3-42yd-42YAC-0d Watson: 3-21yd-22YAC-0d
Graham:3-49yd-14YAC- 0d Utecht:2-24-11YAC-1d

All my rushing yards came in the second half and really after Moreno broke a 43yd TD in the middle of the third. That play also broke the game open.

Only 1 pancake block combined from both teams
I had four sacks on the game but only in the fourth qtr when I supersimmed to the end of the blowout

Denver 23 vs Clevland 17
Total Plays: 57 61
Passing Yards: 154 184
Kyle Orton: 84.8 13/27 216yds- 2td-1int Brady Quinn:47.8 16/36 1td- 2int
Rushing Yards: 93 113
Moreno: 20 - 81yd - 2bt Lewis: 22-100- 1td- 5 bt
Receiveing:
Marshall: 6-112yd-2td-86YAC-1drop Cribbs: 6-71yd-1td-20YAC-2d
Royal: 1-117yd-6YAC-1d Edwards:3-52yd-10YAC-1d
Moreno: 1-11yd-14YAC-0d Lewis:3-47yd-33YAC-1d
Graham: 1-15yd-15YAC- 0d Heiden- 1-5yd-4YAC- Od

Got alot of pressure on Quinn all day long(except for two drives) but alot of those throw aways. It sucks to because there would have been some nasty backside hits on Quinn. Only had two sacks. Running was difficult but was able to squeak out a decent preformance by Moreno. Nothing big just little 3 and 4 yarders all game.
Browns defense was great. Jackson had the best game of any linebacker in the history of the NFL. 10Solo/4Assist/7TFL/5Sacks/1Int

These settings keep you honest in your playcalling and make it so you have to focus the whole game(thank God for medical pot in Cali).

So in two games these work out great so far. Cincy D had one sack and hardly any pressure and I shredded them with Orton. Clevland brought the heat and I struggled throwing the ball. Great football feel

Thanks for the quick response and your work in general.

Tried to sneak that game in a half hour ago, but my girlfriend pulled a Michael Meyers on me, just popped up out of her sleep without making a sound and turned off my system.

Number one rule no Madden while she's home(ughh I miss the single life Lol.)

Good stuff, that's the aim. I want really sensible realistic stats, which I'm getting. If the sliders are too easy for the Individual, it's quite easy to adjust. I really don't want to introduce a slider set though, where folks really have to struggle (on an average basis) with a good team. That isn't right to me. On average, the good teams should prevail.

The one thing that EA really seem to have got right this year, is that every cpu team plays at least something like their RL counterparts. This should keep us all going for months, with a decent slider set.

Re: DB's Sliders to help Oline Pancakes

Played my first game using these sliders, and went pretty good.

Stats:

Jets 19 (CPU) @ Ravens 38 (Me)

Total Plays: 60-66

Total Offense: 315-376

Rushing Yards: 78-149

Passing Yards: 237-227

Turnovers: 1-3 (2 of mine were fumbles)

Possession: 26:30-33:30

Pancake: 1-3

Sacks: 1-4

J.Flacco: 93.4 Rtg 18/30 238 Yds 2 Tds 1 Int

M.Sanchez: 73.0 Rtg 21/39 264 Yds 1 Td 1 Int

W.Mcgahee: 30 Att 135 Yds 1 Td 4.5 AVG

T.Jones: 20 At 79 Yds 1 Td 3.9 AVG

D.Mason: 5 Rec 51 Yds 10.2 AVG

T.Heap: 5 Rec 72 Yds 1 Td 14.4 AVG

J. Cotchery: 5 Rec 72 Yds 14.4 AVG

D.Keller: 5 Rec 47 1 Td 9.4 AVG

Overall, The game played great. Pretty much shut down Sanchez in the 1st half with the Ravens D (28-3), but 2nd half he got in a groove. I'll play a few more games tomorrow and post the results. Good work so far with the sliders DB.

Re: DB's Sliders to help Oline Pancakes

I just got my *** handed to me on a plate by Dallas again that's 0-3. I didn't even finish the game..suffice to say I gave up when I threw my FIFTH pick of the day. They were utterly unstoppable. I had them in countless third downs, and they found a way to convert every time, no matter what I did. Barber had around 27/160 at the time, and when the last pick had been returned for a TD, which is where it was going, I would have been losing 41-6 late in the 3rd qrt. Shoot!

Off to try again, and I want to blow them out, not just win

Re: DB's Sliders to help Oline Pancakes

Finally beat Dallas (phew!), up 20-0 after opening with a 75yd quick slant against a big blitz that went for a TD...BUT they came back, and back and back, great game, found myself punching the air at times, especially when I stopped them on 4th and 2 with a free safety blitz, when Rhodes flew into the hole and upended Barber

Final was 27-20, 312 Dallas total Off, 311 Jets Total Off, and I never. ever want to play Dallas again...

GUYS, I THINK IT'S TIME FOR A NEW THREAD, THE TITLE OF THIS ONE IS MISLEADING SO DON'T POST HERE ANYMORE, AND I LIKE THE SLIDERS ENOUGH THAT THEY ARE PASSED THE EXPERIMENTAL STAGE...I'LL POST THE LINK BELOW, WHEN I'VE STARTED THE NEW THREAD.
