Sm27's Madden Manifesto for 2010, a preview...

I haven't talked to sm27 in a few weeks, but I'll get him on the horn soon once I've got a feel for the 2nd patch. We really wanted to concentrate on making a great, final product, and without a patch, everything we did would have been wasted.

Soon as the 360 patch drops, we'll be looking into what we might be able to do to extend the life of this game.

The Manifesto for 2005 was pure gold and a new one would be awesome if it could be done.

The second patch did jack and ****e for the game!

So Im pretty sure sm27 is just sitting around as pissed as I am about the whole thing.

The first patch did an ok job and using some sliders on this site I can have a "Playable" franchise.

But there are still alot of glaring issues.

I really cant believe they didnt fix the "QB Throws as hes getting sacked" bug. I mean thats huge. My OLB cant get a sack for the life of them because the QB can toss it away at anytime. Half the time that pass they get off is accurate!!

Ugh.

And the sim stat engine is worse than it was, as well as the fact that the "switch to closest player" function to make tackle seems much less precise...

It's my first game on PS3, though and I'm having fun despite the above.

I'm a lot less picky than I was in '05 as well...

Im still having fun also. Was actually about 10 games into a franchise using MY SKILL but cant stand the inconsintenty of it all.

One week Adrian Petereson will have 120 yards and a TD the next hell go 25 att for 20 yards and no TDs. Its infuriating seeing that I fantasy drafted a 90+ Overall line in front of him.

Anyway.
