OK so I figured out something really cool today. All this time, I thought that setting a team to favor defense against the pass over run (the Run vs. Pass slider in the coaching scheme section) would create more sacks, but I was wrong. It's the opposite. Setting a team to favor the run will cause them to run blitz more in both sim and played games, meaning they will get more sacks total. When I combine that with the setting I have for coaches already, it really made a big difference. Teams that run the 3-4 should all be set to favor the run, to varying degrees.

Call me crazy but this is what I did recently.

Under Roster #3 Player Management>EDIT PLAYER.

I edited QBs-Ps so they were Ranked like so. Not all the same just 99-90.

I proceded to do this for all Pos. QB-P so that first page was similar to this format

always having 90 be the last rating. For ex. Peterson is 99 OVR HB I raised his main

skill trucking then raised AWR till he was 99. Thats what I did with all players.

Why I did this is so that SuperStars now are really superstars plus there is a ranked

OVR basically 99-45. 99 representing the best in that position sometimes it is

shared or claimed alone. This really spreads out Ratings and you can feel the

difference between a backup HB and AP and now you can actually break gang

tackles and stiff arm works lol. I raised AWR for most All-Star LT-RT this made them

capable to actually block and function. I liked the spread OVR but making them

slow in the head wasn't the answer. Also FB I boosted blocking and AWR as well.

They tend to miss alot of blocks. I know this might be a bit confusing but please

ask away. With my other settings and these AWR and OVR reordering I feel that my

gameplay and overall stats are much better and I have not broken a controller

since.
