Canes21 Sim Sliders

Hello everyone. I've looked and I've looked, but I have not been able to find a slider set that fits me. I'll find some where the passing game is too easy, the running game is ridiculously hard. Or I'll find some where I can use the Steelers and get blown out by the Lions. I just couldn't find any sliders I liked.

So, I decided to just create my own and test it out over franchise and tweak it through the first few games and then settle with it. Well, I came up with an idea and went with it and now I am happy with Madden 2010. Now these are not for everyone, and the stats I am about to post are a little bit ugly on my side, but there is some explanation behind it. I hope you all give it a try and leave me feedback good or bad. As long as you tried it I'll be happy.

I want to note that Portis was out for the season so my back up Mason has been getting all the carries, and I lost a starting lineman for a couple of weeks, so my carries have been low because of injuries. I have other games, I may post them later, but three is good for now IMO, if people want more, just ask and if a good number ask I will post some more later. Please try these, and if you think one stat is too high or low, please tell me.

Also, with 15 min quarter and 25 second runoff I get about 120-125 plays every single game.

Re: Canes21 Sim Sliders

Well, I just played an interesting game with these sliders in my franchise. I picked a random game of the week and just went with it. I chose to play as the Rams against the Falcons.

The only tweak I made to your sliders is that I put CPU QB Accuracy at 45.

This game went very well and was pretty entertaining. The Rams were without their starting HB (S.Jackson) and their #1 WR (D.Avery). They drafted a stud HB (J.Biggs) who is 83 overall who did a decent job.

On to the stats:

Code:
		STL - ATL
Score 23 - 20
Total Offense	331 - 365
Rushing Yards 69 - 88
Passing Yards	262 - 277
Turnovers 1 - 1

Individual Stats
-----------------

Passing:
--------
STL - QB M.Bulger - 20/27 74% 262YDS 2TD 1INT
ATL - QB M.Ryan - 23/33 69% 281YDS 2TD 0INT

Rushing:
--------
STL - HB J.Biggs - 22ATT 74YDS 3.3AVG 0TD (Long: 9)
ATL - HB M.Turner - 17ATT 79YDS 4.6AVG 0TD (Long: 10)

Receiving:
----------
ATL - WR R.White - 6REC 53YDS
ATL - WR H.Douglas - 2REC 67YDS 2TD

STL - WR L.Robinson - 5REC 57YDS 1TD
STL - WR B.Foster - 4REC 82YDS 1TD
Both teams have CRAP secondaries, so the passing for both sides was relatively easy. The Rams have a terrible defensive line and it showed - I couldn't get ANY pressure on Matt Ryan with my front 4. I was scared to blitz him, so I just dealt with him having 5-7 seconds to pass. I only sacked him once and it was in garbage time when he did a fake spike.

The only two drives that I really tried to score, I did so with ease against their secondary. I was up 23-10 in the final 8 minutes of the game. The Falcons drove down inside my 20 and Roddy White fumbled. The next drive they get 4th and 1 at my 30 and decide to kick a FG?

I run out some time and end up punting back to them. Matt Ryan launched a touchdown with 0:01 left to make it 23-20.

I'll play another game soon.

Note: I did not play on Fast with TH at 80. I played on slow with threshold at 25.

Re: Canes21 Sim Sliders

I tried the sliders for about a quarter, Vikings (me) vs. Browns (cpu). The game/stats seemed pretty balanced and realistic. Fast speed is just not my thing. It didn't feel right to me. Some guys really like it: I don't.

Re: Canes21 Sim Sliders

Alright, I also made some All Madden sliders that are challenging, but I get realistic stats. The thing is I am actually losing more than 3 games a season with these. I went from 7-0 to 9-5 and playing for the NFC East in my franchise now. Next game is the 10-4 Cowboys! I can post them if anybody would like... I might have to make a different topic since they are a whole new set.
