WOW. I don't understand the thing with me and the Jaguars in this game furthermore the Garrard/Sims Walker connection. I always always light it up offensively between them two. Jaguars quite possibly the perfect squad for my playing sheme. Sims-Walker consistently was beating the 49ers secondary, not sure if I need to adjust the sliders here or not as this has never happened to me before. Never even had a reciever get more then 150 yds in one game...he just kept getting open.

I want a beer! (Can I say that here?)

I'm going to re-play this game but facing the big bad blue Colts. Lol.

Re: Buddha 9009's All-Pro Realism Sliders

I played a franchise game Lions (me) vs. Browns (cpu) in the first year, week 11 of my franchise mode using these sliders. Sorry, don't have a bunch of stats to post. But I can give general impressions.

1.) You're right about the zero speed threshold not really effecting the game too much, at least in 2 WR sets. Because I'm in year one, and the Lions don't have a bunch of great receivers (only one, really), I didn't run with my normal 3-5 receiver sets very often. I'm thinking on zero speed threshold, with a WR lined up against a LB (because the CPU doesn't call defenses based on personnel), the WR is going to be pretty open on almost every play; maybe not.

2.) The game played as you would think a game between the Lions and Browns would play: a lot of punts, sloppy play on both sides, and the occasional big play. That is, until the 4th QTR. For some reason, me and the CPU exploded with offense in the 4th. The score in that quarter alone was 28 (me) to 16 (CPU). Strange, but probably just a fluke.

3.) The CPU averaged 4.7 yards per carry, which I like. Jamal Lewis was hard to stop, even stacking the defense. I like this because my defensive talent is atrocious, so it should be hard.

4.) Derrick Anderson (sp?) was awful (something like 13-38 and two picks), but that just maybe his ratings.

Thanks for putting in the effort. This is my first game playing in 'very slow'. Not sure if I want to continue to play in this mode. I'm used to the normal mode now. If you put normal speed sliders in I'd check them out.

1) Usually your 4th WR has about as decent of pass catching abilities as the LB's coverage abilities, hasn't posed MUCH of an issue for me personally.
2) Offenses usually pick up a bit in the 4th after a slow starting game in Madden 10, I've noticed this. To that extent? With these sliders? From my experience, a bit of a fluke. But strange things happen no matter the sliders.
3) That's GOOD to hear! Thank YOU!
4) Ugh yeah probably his ratings. Plus on top of it the Browns recieving options are if not the worst in the league the second worst.

I'll look into development of normal speed sliders as this seems to be a bit desired here.

I'm actually going to try these sliders on normal.
But increasing the threshold to probably around 15-25.

Thanks for the very constructive feedback.

PS I started off in normal then went to very slow and after about 5 games I personally would not go back permanently. The animations just seem so much better to me. But that's all personal opinion, really.
