Coaching schemes needed POST Patch #2

Anyone who has compiled Coaching sliders before can you please re-evaluate with Patch 2 in place? I believe this is the only way to tune sim stats post patch. Looman did a great job tuning the stats in general now it's time for the fine tuning....

So let the games begin...

Re: Coaching schemes needed POST Patch #2

I am controlling all 32 teams and did the following adjustments:

I have injuries on

Offensive schemes

Every team had 60/40 in favor of pass

Aggression was at 60 or 50(depending on team)

RB splits were between 50 and 70(depending on team)

End of year stats, no RB over 1600 yds, (20 players over 1,000) but YPC were ridiculous. Most tds were14 by MJD.

QB-12 in 4,000 range, Brees(4846), Manning (4600), Brady (4400), other 9 between 4000 and 4250. TDs were 45 by brees, no one else over 38.

Wrs has crazy catch numbers- 11 players over 100 catches, most yds were 1683, most Tds were 20, both by Roddy White.

I am going to keep messing with them.

Will get a team by team breakdown soon

Hope this helps

Re: Coaching schemes needed POST Patch #2

I posted this in the wrong thread so im mving it here..............Quick observation for the RB stat guys....in three simmed seasons i have between 14-18 guys with 90+ yard runs and between 56-62 guys with runs of longer than 60 yards,,,,dont believe it was so many pre-patch and that has obviously gotta explain the high avg per carry numbers........probably nothing we can do to fix it is there.........does speed threshold affect simmed games,,,,,,,maybe closing the gap will produce less big plays and lower the avg's and total yrds.....just throwin it out there as a thought.ill do some testing until this nyquil takes affect and knocks me out for the night

Re: Coaching schemes needed POST Patch #2

Does this mean the CPU teams will run less when in actual games?

I just had a game where Denver ran the ball 12 times with Moreno - really doesn't need to be less than that...

Re: Coaching schemes needed POST Patch #2

if you're messing w/ the coach sliders then yes, they will effect games you play

that is actually why I dont mind stats too much pre patch (I have 360 so I havent played post patch... but the ridiculous RB YPC scare me)... pre patch #2 I just moved every teams Run vs Pass one click to the left (aka towards the run) from what they start at (this puts most teams at 50 or 40 [40 meaning they prefer to run more than pass])... and I moved every teams defense 3 clicks (I think it was 3) to the right on their Run vs Pass tendencies (aka towards the pass)

obviously I also turned down defensive aggression on all teams, I think that one I did 3 clicks to the left, maybe 4

Ugh - I'll just live with the stats whatever they are.

I'd rather the AI run MORE and have a run game that's more realistic, than to get even LESS running game from the AI.

I am controlling all 32 teams and did the following adjustments:

I have injuries on

Offensive schemes

**Went back and changed all teams to 50/50 split run/pass ratio**

**Aggressiveness at 70 for all teams; NE, NO, AZ, and SD at 90**

**Had all rb's at 60/40 splits**

Had 1 4,000 yd QB- most was Rodgers 4075

Had 22 1,000 yd Rushers-most was 2279 Peterson(3 above 1500)

Had 17 1,000 yd WRs-most was D Mason at 1433 (

Qb TDs 35 for p. manning, 34 M ryan, 32 Rodgers, 30 Brady

Rush TDs 24 Peterson, 15 for Rice and MJD

Wr TDs 14 housh, 13 mason

**Only 2 wrs had 100 catches**

Re: Coaching schemes needed POST Patch #2

Ok, ran it through one more time

3 qb's in 4,000 range (4,211 most)

Brady had 46 tds, brees with 38, big ben 37

23 rb's had 1,000 yd season(1799 most)

S jackson had 19 tds, MJD had 16, Turner 14

**peterson had 1,400 with 10 tds, but missed 3 weeks**

3 wrs had 100+ catches, most was 104

15 wrs over 1,000 yds; 1,611 was most yds , next was 1289

I think this might work, only complaint YPC were high

Peterson 8.0
j stewart 6.9
MJD 6.8
W parker 6.6

etc
