Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 2

Just making sure I'm not crazy, but by controlling all 32 teams this basically rules out doing any trades at all right? Even if I try to trade a player for a draft pick or something?

The other teams accept any trade you give them because technically you control them too. Am I correct in saying this? Is there any way around this?

Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 2

BTW, in last game Moss 1 TD and Slater 1 KO Ret TD.

Gm 2
Pats 31, Jets 20

Brady 25/36, 346 yds, 3 TD/1 INT; Clemens 17/27, 244 yds, 1 TD/1 INT

T.Jones 13/51; Pats 80 yds total rushing

Welker 8/78; Faulk 5/46; Moss 4/44

Cotchery 5/62 1 TD; Edwards 4/76

Sanchez and L.Washington out injured for Jets. Two defensive INT returns for both teams in the game (one horrendous pick by me on 1st drive, although awesome 64 yd return by Revis). After Pats drive ends in Sam Aiken TD with 0:14 seconds in 2nd half, Pats give up big return but James Sanders makes TD saving tackle on Justin Miller on the Pats' 5 with 2 seconds left in 1st half, with the Jets stealing a FG to make it 14-10. Of course Springs gets pick 6 in 4th after I bag on him last post. Not many penalties, only 2.

Thanks for the headsup.
Okay checked out all teams that run 3-4 scheme at nfl.com. Just checked depth charts at nfl.com to see the scheme.

Pg. 1 has all teams that run 3-4 teams now on coaching sliders.

Does this affect simming??
I'm pretty sure it just effects draft tendencies.

Nice game! Jets kept it close. Are you using the coaching sliders, reason I ask is b/c the Jets didn't run very much.
Everything else looks good.

Re: Normal Custom Sliders Title Update 2

Dfos we can't do any trades by controlling all 32 teams right? Not even trying to trade for a draft pick?

Thats the downer about using all 32 teams. You wouldn't see any trades. Even on draft day. The cpu will release, sign, and reorder depth charts.

After all the coaching slider testing and still seeing skewed stats in areas(ypc and sacks), I'm really considering just controlling 1 team.

Especially since I want to play multiple seasons w/ 1 team anyway.
I want the cpu to make moves, rather it be by putting guys on the trading block, or trading up/down in the draft.

My goal the whole time was gameplay 1st and I think we got a very good base for gameplay.
It sucks that so many teams are using the wrong defensive schemes by default though(Broncos, Packers, Cards, etc.)

Your right, it doesn't affect simmed stats. All this coaching slider madness is making me sick.

I'm leaving coaching sliders up for us but, I personally will be using 1 team.
I will just have to deal w/ the skewed stats, teams using the wrong D schemes by default, etc.
I would rather see the cpu make moves and just keep up w/ the news that way.
Now maybe we can enjoy some played games!
