NFL on FOX: Patch #2 Sliders

This slider set is after "PATCH #2" and is based off of ALL PRO DIFFICULTY. I tried every combination of Playmakers,Drew Bledsoe and Bill Harris along with mine "Slider Philosophy and theories" and I've come up with this SET. While thorough testing every possibilty I find that these sliders play like my original NFL on FOX SLIDERS once did. The games are realistic and very competitive. Believe me when I tell you this guys I tried everything and this is the best I have to offer and will be my FINAL SLIDERS of 2009.

After watching the 2009 Season opener last night Titans @ Steelers I have decided that the most realistic game speed is*FAST* but since MADDEN 10 was actually built for SLOW to get the most animations. I prefer "FAST" as I said before but the loss of great animations is not worth changing the game speed to "FAST".

Very Important must read

To get realistic results you must play as they are posted here without any changes at all. Now the Quarter length,Accelerated Clock and Camera settings is optional but everything else is a must.

Question Re: NFL on FOX: Patch #2 Sliders

It looks fine, but how are your simulated games coming out as far as stats are concerned? Did you make any adjustments to player ratings such as BC Vision, and awareness? or any adjustments on coaching schemes?

Re: NFL on FOX: Patch #2 Sliders

First full game tested with me calling "MADDEN PLAYS" the entire game and I cant believe how great this game was with finally getting offesne from the CPU.

I did not altered the rosters or reoerder the DEPTH CHARTS I just played this game without any changes from the current ROSTER UPDATE.

1.You half to actually earn your rushing yards.
2.You half to actually work hard at getting your sacks.
3.You half to actually be patient as the QB reading the defense.

I play as the Houston Colts Vs. Texans(Me)

COLTS TEXANS

34 SCORE 24
422 TOTAL OFFENSE 386
84 RUSHING YARDS 54
338 PASSING YARDS 332
19 FIRST DOWNS 17
21 PR YARDS 15
96 KR YARDS 185
539 TOTAL YARDS 586
0 (+2) TURNOVERS 2 (-2)
10-16 (62%) 3RD DOWN CONV. 5-13(38%)
0-0 (0%) 4TH DOWN CONV 1-3 (33%)
0-0 (0%) 2-POINT CONV. 0-0 (0%)
5-5 (100%) RED ZONE % 3-3 (100%)
3 RED ZONE TD 2
2 RED ZONE FG 1
4-35 PENALTIES 3-30
27:42 POSSESSION TIME 20:18

PASSING

Texans

Matt Schaub - 93.9 Rating - 26 COMP 45 ATT for 332 yards,COMP% 57% 3 Tds and 1 INT

Colts

Peyton Manning - 125.3 Rating - 25 COMP 36 ATT for 325 yards,COMP% 69% 3 Tds and 0 INT

RUSHING

Texans

Chris Brown - 14 Att for 58 Yards AVG. 4.1 TD 0
Backups came in realistically but not enough stats to post.

Colts

Joseph Addai - 24 Att for 82 Yards AVG. 3.4 TD 0
Backups came in realistically but not enough stats to post.

RECEIVING

Texans

Chris Brown - 7 receptions for 78 Yards AVG. 11.1 TD 2
Andre Johnson - 5 receptions for 94 Yards AVG. 18.8 TD 0
Joel Dreesen - 4 receptions for 43 Yards AVG. 10.7 TD 0

There were otheres I threw to but stats not enough to post.

I know I should have got Andre Johnson more involved but I was choosing MADDEN plays the entire game and paying attention to the testing.

Colts

Reggie Wayne - 6 receptions for 94 Yards AVG. 15.6 TD 2
P.Garcon - 6 receptions for 71 Yards AVG. 11.8 TD 0
A.Collie - 6 receptions for 103 Yards AVG. 17.1 TD 0
Joseph Addai - 4 receptions for 26 Yards AVG. 6.5 TD 0

Defense

Both teams applied pressure and should or cold have had a couple of sacks. I dont like easy "SACKS" where you get to the QB without even trying.

There were tackles for loss and Texans I myself threw I think it was 2 Ints.

Re: NFL on FOX: Patch #2 Sliders

It looks like it was one heck of a fine game. Was this a Franchise game? If you are using these sliders in Franchise, it will be important to divulge what type of sim games you are seeing. That seems to be the biggest issue facing us right now.

Re: NFL on FOX: Patch #2 Sliders

Is the CPU Block Shedding supposed to be 25 like the human one?

Re: NFL on FOX: Patch #2 Sliders

Aren't FG, Punt, and Kickoff power too low at 25?

Re: NFL on FOX: Patch #2 Sliders

The SPECIAL TEAMS are user preference but what im using its harder to get those 50+ yard field goals like in real life.

Yes the CPU block shedding should be higher than HUM at 50 to make us earn our yards.

Does the game play better using only madden plays? Does it make it harder or easier?
