cnelly4's Difficult Sliders

Update: 9/1/10 Just a few more small tweaks!!

Just made a couple small tweaks. They will be in bold!

Yep, another slider thread!!

This is my first time posting sliders for any game on here, but I think I have tried almost every set the past 3 days, and just can't find any that fit my playing style. I have played around in a test dynasty fine tuning these, and I started a new dynasty with these sliders. I beat the Saints 31-18 in my first game and it played really well. I was losing the whole game but I turned 2 turnovers into 14 points in the fourth and won the game. I will post the boxscore after I post these.

So here it goes:
Quarter Length: 15 Minutes
Clock Runoff: 20 seconds (I play franchise, and I noticed that in sim games the computer is getting more plays than me, so I lowered this to get a few more plays).
Playcall Style: Conventional
Play Clock: On
Auto Strafe: Off
Auto Sprint: Off
Fatigue:48
Injuries: 30
Game Speed: Slow
Speed Threshold: 30

Penalties
Offside: 100
False Start: 88
Holding: 68
Facemask: 50
Def. Pass Int: 100
Off. Pass Int: 100
KR/PR Int: 100
Clipping: 52
Int. Grounding: 100
Rough the Passer: 100
Rough the Kicker: 100

Sliders
Human/Computer
QB Accuracy: 30/57
Pass Blocking: 0/3
WR Catching: 50/45

Broken Tackles: 3/0
Run Blocking: 35/35
Fumbles: 35/30

Pass Reacting Time: 25/4
Interceptions: 65/13
Pass Rushing: 97/4

Rush Reaction Time: 35/40
Block Shedding: 0/0
Tackling: 50/20

Special Teams
FG Power: 44
FG Accuracy: 45
Punt Power: 54
Punt Accuracy: 100
Kickoff Power: 15

When I started with these I put everything at zero and then worked my way up. I think that they play pretty good for my playing style, hopefully they will work for your's too!! Good luck!! If you want to share any of your games feel free.

Re: cnelly4's Difficult Sliders

Here is my game against the Saints. Brees lit my up pretty good, but I made the stops when I had to.

Re: cnelly4's Difficult Sliders

So, power went out at my house with just under 6 minutes to go in the game (still peeved). I was up 24-14 on Miami and it was a great game. Miami could not do anything against me in the passing in the first half, but Henne started getting some time and making his throws. Brown and Williams were beasts on the ground, but I started shutting them down late.

These sliders are feeling great because you can get pressure on the QB and force bad throws, but you don't get pressure every time. One thing that I am finding helps out extremely well in the passing game is putting my DB's into press coverage every play. It disrupts the receiver/QB timing (just like it is supposed to) and it helps with sacks.

Re-playing this game right now, and I am up 7-0 at halftime. Serious defensive battle going on, first time I have had one of these for this game. I have 104 yards total and they have 102 yards total. We each have two sacks, and I have one interception that stopped their first drive inside my 20.

I hope some of you other guys get a chance to try these out. Will post stats at the end of this game.

Re: cnelly4's Difficult Sliders

I am not going to post a box score before, but I will give you all the stats that seem valuable to a slider set. I won the game 17-0. My defense was dominant!!! There's was dominant also. I scored late when they went for it on fourth down and didn't convert.

Team Stats Miami-Minnesota

Total Offense: 170-226
Rushing Yards: 96-99
Passing Yards: 74-127
First Downs: 9-9
Turnovers: 2-1

Defense
Mia- Starks: 5 solo, 1 ast., 1 sack
Mia- Dobbins: 4 solo, 1 ast.
Mia- Anderson: 3 solo, 1 ast., 1 sack
Mia- Smith: 1 INT
Min- K. Willaims: 6 solo, 2 sacks
Min- Henderson: 6 solo, 1 ast., 1 FF
Min- Edwards: 4 solo, 1 ast. 4 sacks, 1 FR (it was cool because after he got his third they started leaving Fasano in to block him and they also have a couple holding calls on him
Min- Sheppard: 1 solo, 1 ast., 1 INT

I never really felt in control the whole game. They had some turnovers at costly times, especially the INT when they were going into score on the first drive of the game. Favre threw his pick right after I recovered the fumble, tried going for the big play and just like Favre (NFC Championship game last year........tears) he tried making something happen.

Re: cnelly4's Difficult Sliders

Made a few more tweaks in the first post, just in case anyone is using these. I think that everyone is pretty set in which sliders they are using by now, but I will still keep updating just in case.

Re: cnelly4's Difficult Sliders

Started a Lions (2-0, beat Chicago 16-13 and Philly 28-13. Both of those games were before I made the latest tweaks.) Franchise and was playing the against the Vikings (2-0). It was a good game all the way through. The Vikings moved the ball as they should and my defense made stops when they had to.

here are some stats

Lions Vikings
16 Score 24
365 Total Off. 347
60 Rush Yds. 118
305 Pass Yds. 229
16 First Downs 14
2 Turnovers 1
7-14 3rd Down Con. 4-12
3-35 Penalties 4-40
29:44 TOP 30:16

Passing: Att-Comp-Yards-TD-INT
Stafford: 20-37-315-1-2
Favre: 17-23-241-2-0

Rushing: Att-Yds-TD
Smith: 17-40-0 (The Vikings are tough to run on)
Best: 4-7-0
Felton: 1-0-0
Stafford: 1-13-0

Peterson:25-108-1
Gerhart: 3-16-0
Camarillo: 1-(-4)-0
Favre: 1-(-2)-0

Receiving: Rec-Yds-TD
C. Johnson: 8-140-1
B. Johnson: 4-63-0
Burleson: 4-70-0
Smith: 2-20-0
Felton: 1-10-0
Pettigrew: 1-12-0

Berrian: 5-80-0
Harvin: 5-77-1
Camarillo: 4-30-0
Shiancoe: 1-5-0
Lewis: 1-40-1
Peterson: 1-9-0

Defense Standouts
Suh: 10 tackles, 1 Sack (He was a beast in this game.)
Delmas: 9 tackles, 2 Ast., 1 FR
Brown: 6 tackles, 1 Ast.
Avril: 2 tackles, 1 sack

K. Williams: 6 tackls, 1 ast., 1 sack, 1 FF
T. Johnson: 6 tackls, 5 ast.
Greenway: 2 ast. 1 INT
Griffin: 5 tackles, 2 ast., 1 INT

The Vikings held me on a 4-and-out with just under two minutes to go, and I thought I was done, with only one timeout. But in standard AP fashion, he fumbled on the third play from scrimmage and I had 29 seconds left for a miracle. But I completed about a 18 yard pass down the middle and then threw a hail mary to the endzone but the game ended.

Not sure why the Vikings were running AP after they just took a knee the play before. That needs to fixed. Also I have noticed that there are not many plays that go the sidelines. I had to run a play over the middle because I could not find one that sent any receivers to the sidelines. Just a couple gripes! Hope you guys get a chance to try these!
