Re: M2H's Coach Mode Sliders for Normalized CPU Completion %

M2H,

Why speed threshold at 100? At 100 the difference in speed is zero and that would appear to penalize all the exceptional players and make them all play fairly equal.

I haven't used your sliders yet, but from experience it seems the CPU will intercept 2 times in a game with zero or 30. In fact, I had it at 100 for another slider set and no difference at 30 with all else equal.

FG power is better at 17--good kickers can still make 55+ yard FGs. Kick Off power at 60, in my opinion, provides a more realistic approach--A kicker with 99 kicking power should get it into the end zone with no wind.

I am in my 16th season of franchise, just to let you know. The main question I have is that speed threshold at 100, Have you tried 50 or 0?

By the way, that's a lot of interceptions with such low numbers for Interceptions in that slider set.

No, these sliders are now outmoded. I'm in the process of trying to get things back into line.

After the update, I played three games with no changes. QB's on both sides struggled, and my running game went into the tank.

I made the suggested special teams changes, dropped speed threshold down to 60, and made some slider adjustments. I got 2 games that were too high-scoring and arcadish. How much of that was my slider changes and how much was the speed threshold change, I have yet to determine. First I'm going to try tweaking the sliders back in the direction I came from.

So basically at this point it's back to the drawing board due to the 1.05 update.

I like the speed threshold at 100. I've used 50 and 0 but it seemed like there were way too many big plays.
