I've seen this mentioned a lot but I've never had an issue with them. They've always come up fine for me for USER and CPU. You just have to choose the CPU gameplan first, back out by pressing B, then go to the user side, set them, and then press start.

It's definitely not a requirement to play with custom gameplans and gameflow to get realistic stats, so I completely understand. I just think some other folks aren't getting good stats because they're not really playing simulation style football with balanced playcalling. I personally use gameflow to kinda set things even. I'm one of those cutthroat online players so if I call my own plays, I'm gonna pretty much demolish the CPU no matter what the sliders are at. I like how gameflow takes the playcalling off my hands so i don't have TOO much control over the game. If I didn't use gameflow I would never lose a game with my franchise team and that's not realistic. Once you know how to exploit the game, it's kinda hard not to take advantage of that. But hey as long as people are getting good stats and animations, it's all good.

I think the people getting too high of completion percentage should give Gameflow a shot though. I can guarantee they will see their percentages come down and be more realistic because they can't rely on money plays where they know a certain route will always be open due to the broken zones in the game. It takes a lot of discipline to play sim ball. Most NFL QBs won't always agree with what the Offensive coordinator calls, so he will audible out of the play or just try his best to execute the play called. Playing sim ball is more about just being the QB, running back and controlling the ball carriers.

Re: Audible45: My Shot at Madden 11 Sliders

just played my first preseason game w/jets vs giants. I had my backups at every position in 3rd and 4th Q
8 min. no accelerated clock
Giants (4 first downs)
pass 9/29 115
rush 10 att 12 yrds
Jets (18 first downs)
pass 19/30 361
rush 49 198 yrds [Rookie Joique Bell (64 ovr) had 77yrds on 13 carries]

3rd down:
giants 1/12
jets 6/19

0 turnovers
118 total plays
final score
jets 19, giants 3

i have noticed that blitz is king. i could not pick up a blitz nor could the ai. as you can see from the stats the ai offense needs to be better.

Before this I played some games on all pro default and good qbs (ravens) and rb (raiders) were somewhat effective. but on that mode my offense #s were too good. I will need to retool.

Very well put, because I too play with gameflow, which I'm sure has helped with my completions. You have been a great help in making these sliders better for everyone. I thank you for that.

Re: Audible45: My Shot at Madden 11 Sliders

Just played one of the best games. I'm in my third year of my NYG Franchise, and I played the Steelers.

Final Score:
Steelers: 28
Giants: 34

Passing:
Giants- Eli Manning: 17/28 284 yards 3TD, 2INT
Steelers- Ben Roethlisberger: 25/42 261 yards 4TD, 1INT

Rushing:
Giants-Ahmad Bradshaw: 15 rushes for 59 yards 1FUM
Brandon Jacobs: 8 rushes for 40 yards 1TD
Eli Manning: 2 rushes for 3 yards
Hakeem Nicks: 2 rushes for 8 yards
Kevin Smith: 1 rush for -2 yards
Steelers-Jonathan Dwyer: 14 rushes for 33 yards 1FUM
Ben Roethlisberger: 4 rushes for 10 yards 1FUM
Isaac Redman: 2 rushes for 6 yards
(Mendenhall injured before our game for 5 weeks)

I was winning 34-21 when the Steelers kick an onside kick and they recovered the ball and marched down the field for a touchdown, (34-28). Then, they kicked another onside kick AND THEY RECOVERED THE BALL AGAIN. They passed the ball through my defense again all the way down around the 20. Then, reluctantly, I sacked Big Ben, and he fumbled with no one around but Jason Pierre-Paul to recover the ball to save our victory. Very, very intense and realistic game to me.

Re: Audible45: My Shot at Madden 11 Sliders

Here are the first four games of franchise, most of which I only won from a last minute drive. My Giants team is pretty good after 2 seasons.

vs. Panthers(1-4) W17-10
at. Falcons(1-3) W10-7
vs. Steelers(2-3) W34-28
at Buccaneers(1-4) W24-21
BYE

Tough Schedule Ahead...

at Cowboys(2-3)
at Browns(1-3)
vs. Bengals(2-3)
vs. Vikings(3-1)
vs. Eagles(3-2)
at Cardinals(4-1)
vs. Saints(5-0)

at Redskins(2-2)
at Ravens(3-2)
vs. Cowboys(2-3)
vs. Redskins(2-2)
at Eagles(3-2)

Giants(4-0)<-----Not sure if I will keep that undefeated record for long, it's going to be a long, hard season ahead.

Change whatever you want to make your gameplay better, we are here to help you, too. Good luck with the sliders!! Post any questions you have, and I'm sure that I, or any other poster, can help.

Re: Audible45: My Shot at Madden 11 Sliders

Ravens (Me) 24
Browns 21

Passing
Joe Flacco 21/36 - 329 2 TD 2 INT
Colt McCoy 22/47 - 208 0 TD 1 INT

Rushing
Ray Rice 26 - 124 4.7 1 TD

Peyton Hillis 29 - 141 4.8 0 TD
Mike Bell 11 23 2.0 1 TD

Defense
Ray Lewis 9 Tackles 3 Assist
Terrell Suggs 7 Tackles 2 Assist
Jameel McClain 7 Tackles

T.J. Ward - 7 Tackles
Eric Barton - 6 Tackles
D'Qwell Jackson - 6 Tackles

Cleveland was up for most of the first half with 3 field goals. I came back with a TD to Heap to end the half 9-7. No scoring until the 4th quarter until I decided to throw an interception and the next play they ran it in. I tied it up on a long bomb. OT lasted well until the last 2 minutes. I was kind of annoyed by Franchise mode and how many ties were showing up, but the game I just played kind of makes me understand how it happens. Ended it with a field goal to secure win.

I attempted to play with your sliders before you updated them, and had an 88% completion rating. These updates really have improved the passing it seems. The CPU seems to be able to place the ball when needed, without cheesing.

What really got me fired up about these sliders, however, are the tackles. Even in last gen Madden games, linebackers never get many tackles. DBs seemed to hog them all. Other sliders I've found for this Madden are fun, but none seem to be able to fix the tackling issue. Except these. This is the first time I've actually seen LBs get the majority of the tackles. I think it has to do with the tackling slider and speed threshold. DBs can still get to the back, but he can usually break free or he is slowed down and thats when a LB comes in to finish it. When the pass is short, LBs tend to be there to secure the tackle vs a DB who sprints across field to get the tackle. These sliders seem to fix the issue that has been bothering me for a long time. Thanks for that.

Of note, I change coaching tendencies (drop 20 from aggressive on off/def) for opposing teams. This seems to offer more short/mid plays. I use basic gameplan option as well. Thanks again for the sliders, they really have made the game fun again.
