I like the idea of a 50% FG rating from 50 yards out or more. Also that the kicker could miss an extra point every once in a while.
Also, Have you considered using the 25 standard on All-Madden?
I heard that was a pretty good from someone else also.. I might have to look into it...

Yeah 25 is way too low on STs I tried that in one game and seen CHIPSHOTS from reliable kickers get missed.. cool man..

I want to try something. Using your settings, but on Rookie, All-Pro, Pro, and All-Madden with unchanged sliders.
Basically I'm hoping for some separation between WR's and DBs

Re: DolpFan's 10 Min. Pro CPU v. CPU Sliders

Heres stats from another game using 12 minute quarters

KC NYG
Score 14 24
T Off 314 401
Rush 96 114
Pass 222 287
FDs 14 15
TOs 5 3
Pens 11/120 10/99
Poss 25:34 22:36
GameTime: 1h, 32m

Game recap:

Giants
Manning 18-30, 309 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Bradshaw 23 rush, 74 yds
Jacobs 4 car, 40 yds

Cheifs
Cassel 22-36, 254 yds, 1 TD, 5 INTs
Charles 23 car, 69 yds, 1 TD

3 INTs that Cassel had came late in the 4th Quarter trying to make throws he had no business throwing. 2 of them were endzone heaves in double coverage.. This games was a little faster than the previous one as it was just as long as some of the 10 min games..

Next.. Rams at Packers then replay the Colts at Redskins @ 12 mins

Re: DolpFan's 10 Min. Pro CPU v. CPU Sliders

Here's the trail result of my first experimental settings with everything @25, but on Rookie. 15 Minute QTRS

Vikings 22 Titans-0
Total Offense... Vikings 422, Titans..220
Rushing Yds... Vikings 249, Titans ..132
Passing Yards... Vikings 173, Titans...88
1 turnover for the Titans, none Vikings
7-18(38%) 3rd Down pct to 5-18 (27%)
Penalties.. Vikings 14-135, Titans 6-60

Passing

Titans

Locker 2-4 for 12 yds (50%)
Collins 6-10 for 44 yds (60%)
Smith 6-18 for 71 (33%)

Vikings

Jackson 8-9 for 108 (88%)
Ponder 4-6 for 44 (33%)
Webb 4-6 for 41 (66%)

Rushing

Titans
Stafon Johnson 12 for 43 (3.5)
Chris Johnson 6 for 39 (6.5)
Ringer 6 for 42 (7.0)
Locker 2 for 7 (3.5)
Harper 1 for 0 (0.0)
Cook 1 for 1 (1.0)

Vikings

Gerhart 11 for 53 (4.8)
Young 9 for 54 (6.0)
Booker 6 for 13 (2.1)
Jackson 6 for 39 (6.5)
Peterson 6 for 36 (6.0)
Webb 5 for 39 (7.8)
Ponder 3 for 12 (4.0)
Berian 1 for 3 (3.0)

5 sacks for the Vikings, Three sacks for the Titans
Only turnover was a fumble. No interceptions.
On avg, less than 5.0 yds per rush. Had two big catches along sidelines which I was hoping to see.
All in all, not great, but setting sliders much higher(75?) might give interesting results on Rookie Level. Thinking Rookie Level might be good for CPU only games. Wr's did have more room to operate at this level.

Same settings on Pro next. Will post results.

Re: DolpFan's 10 Min. Pro CPU v. CPU Sliders

Played my second experimental game.. 15 Min Qtrs, using 25 base on PRO level.
I'm not even going to type the stats. The stats are fine in themselves.
I had a bunch of missed FGs, too many Interceptions. Like 5-6 Interceptions.
The problem being that everything was directed towards the center of the field between the hashmarks. I'm looking more and more at WHERE the receivers catch the ball, and whether they had any separation.
On Rookie at 25 base, it seemed like receivers could get a couple of steps on their defenders. And they could catch passes on the sidelines. On PRO at 25 base, NOTHING is on the sidelines, and receivers were double or triple teamed . Besides, I'm not seeing enough breakaway plays on PRO.

So I'm going to All-Pro next, still at 25 Base. Let's see if anything is different.
Again, I'm no longer looking at stats. I think EA's done a good job statistically on several settings. The question is how tight, or how loose, is the game playing. I want something more loose.

FYI; I was wrong. The Giants threw 9 INTs, not 5 or 6. Way out of kilter.
