Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
Ok, 2nd game and more of the same for both offenses. It was another field goal fest...9 FG's!!! I guess I just suck in the redzone...The CPU ran the ball MUCH better this time but not sure if was because I was facing Arian Foster, as I did not change the settings from the first game...I still can't run for Sh@t, but only 14 out of the 32 starting HB's in the league are avg. more than 4.0 a carry...do you think that has anything to do with slider settings? also what sliders should I adjust if I would like to be able to avg. at least 1 or 2 more yards per carry?
I am happy to see that 64 RB's have at least 10+ carries, not sure why Thomas only received one carry in this game...also in both games I have played so far, against top notch QB's I might add, they never seem to throw the ball downfield. They complete a lot of short passes, not sure if it the defense I am calling or what?
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
Someone else mentioned the lack of downfield chances the CPU takes, I dont think that's the case but yes it's probably because of the coverage you're calling and the situation in the game. If you blitz and don't get to the qb the CPU will probably launch it or of you call a cover 2 instead of 3 or 4 they'll take shots deep middle etc
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
So i played my first game with these sliders and i have to say that they are pretty great in terms of realism i was the raiders and beat the broncos 24-19. Run Dmc ran for 119 yards off 22 carries and campbell played like himself going 10-20 for 120.
Everything seemed really good except for fumbles. Maybe it was bad luck on my part but 4 kick returns in a row i got hit sticked and fumbled so i adjusted the fumble just for the rest of the game because it started to get a bit ridiculous. Im wondering tho is there any specific reason the fumble is so low for both. I dont want to mess them up by upping the fumble slider because they felt really good. Was challenging but it wasnt cheating.
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
I love these sliders, i played a Jets at Patriots game last night and had loads of fun. I wasn't able to play through the first half, but from what i experienced it was very realistic. I played as the Patriots, by the time i had to get off, the score was 13-7 Jets, they scored on a short pass to their tight end who broke a tackle and had many blocks from there, it was actually very fun. I scored on a long pass to Gronkowski, he was wide open because the jets threw a very heavy blitz at me. The one thing i would have to critic is that it seemed like the game was becoming a field goal fest, the other team had already kicked 2. Other than that it was very fun.
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
using ur revised set from 1st page and am halfway thru the 1st quarter of the cards (cpu) & lions (me) and im already having more fun then with any other set ive tried... with some other all-madden sets the cpu would have 60-75yds rushing by this point... i broke a 53yd TD with best and gus john said "he has speed, run away from the cops speed" lmao thats the first time ive heard him say that
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
just played a great game with the most recent I was the Broncos lost 16-14 to the radas. Mc Fadden fumbled 3 times kind of surprised me with fumbles at 9 that seemed a little high but only one game. I like yours and jarods man you guys are coming up with some great sliders.

This is good though because i noticed that 9 out of 10 times the computer goes downfield, it's a completion, the defender simply crouches down infront of the reciever and never turns around to play the ball.
Not just with your sliders..but with any set i've tried, I think it's something wrong with the game itself
This happens both when the defender is user controlled or cpu controlled for the user team.
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
Really surprised you guys are seeing a lot of fumbles with these settings. I'm 6 games into year 2 of my franchise and I'm towards the bottom of the league in both fumbles lost and fumbles recovered.
