Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
I've tried everyone's sliders on this forum, and was having a hard time finding a balance between a difficulty where I lose the appropriate amount of games in my Franchise and having realistic stats. Sure, I could have the CPU complete 80% of passes and get 10 yards per carry and can lose that way, but it wouldn't feel right. I am still testing these, and will post box scores as I continue to refine them. Please post any comments you have, as I am trying to perfect them for when I restart my franchise with the updated rosters tomorrow. Thanks.
Quarter Length: 12 Minutes
Accelerated Clock: 20 seconds Injuries: 50 (Someone's sliders had them at 45 and my players almost never got injured, bumping it back up to 50 made a huge difference, obviously your preference here but I like having a realistic amount of injuries which is having 3-6 guys on IR by the end of the season and up to 10 guys at any time being injured) Fatigue: 55
Speed: Normal Min Speed Threshold: 62 (Feel free to experiment with this, I've had it at 0 and barely noticed much of a difference, the super fast players went really fast I guess but in terms of gameplay changes I didn't notice much)
Penalties:
Offsides: 55
False start: 55
Holding: 54
Facemask: 53
Def and pass interference: 100
Clipping: 51
Intentional Grounding: 100
Roughing the passer: 52
Roughing the kicker: 100
Like all sliders, you need to adjust based on your skill. Also in order to really get realistic results, you need to refrain from running plays that work all the time on the CPU. I try to limit the amount of quick slants and slip screens and whatnot.
I will post box scores and adjustments to the sliders as much as possible.
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
I was going to wait to post my sliders after playing at least 3 games, but when my predicted and desired result actually happened in this game, I knew they were ready. Playing as the Ravens at home against the Chargers, I expected a tight game where I would win 17-16, shutting down the Chargers running game but giving up a lot of passing yards to Rivers.
I swear I did not change anything about the game settings, or start using cheesy plays or anything of the sort during this game. I literally gave up 16 points while getting shut down on offense and then scored 17 unanswered in the 2nd half. It was one of the most fun games I have ever played. Actually had about 145 plays (just counting now, were a couple carries I didn't bother putting in from fullbacks, and a few sacks), which is probably the most I've seen with 12 minute quarters.

Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
I wanted to test a losing game, so I played as the Bills against the Bears. I expected to lose 20-10 or so, and actually should have been a 22-10 loss but the CPU kicked a field goal in the last second instead of just letting the clock run out lol. I also anticipated that Forte would rush for over 100 yards considering the Bills had the worst run d last year and didn't expect Barnett and Dareus to make that much of a difference, and was right on that account too. I made some minor adjustments in between this game and the Ravens/Chargers game. I am going to test a blow out later, I'm thinking Steelers vs Panthers or Seahawks maybe. Expecting the Steelers vs Panthers or Seahawks to be a 27-6 game or so, and expecting the Steelers to not give up more than 50 rushing yards to the Hawks, no more than 100 against Panthers.
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
Lastly, I tested these sliders with a user controlled top tier team vs a cpu bad team. Instead of playing as the Steelers I decided to go with the Packers, just to make it slightly more lopsided with the best team from last year against the worst, also because the Packers have a better pass defense and worse run defense. I wanted to see how one of the best pass d's in the game ripped a rookie QB a new one. My predictions going into this was the Panthers passing for less than 100 yards, running well against a servicable Packers run defense, and the Packers to move the ball easily on the ground and through the air, expected a fairly high score, something like 34-17. Once again the sliders proved effective, Cam Newton completed only SIX passes, threw 2 picks, and was sacked 3 times. Surprisingly the AI didn't mix up the carries between D Williams and J Stewart, maybe because it wasn't in franchise mode with AI gameplans, who knows. They didn't need to though as Williams had plenty of yards, including a 80 yard td run. The score once again was very close to what I expected, only 4 pts off. I am loving these sliders, please give them a try and let me know what you think before I use them for my new franchise tomorrow!
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
Since I am having so much fun with these sliders, I am going to play and post another game, playing as the Lions at the Rams, I know it looks bad that I'm posting what I expected the score to be in the same post as the box score, I am predicting that it will be a close game with a fairly high score, Rams 28 Lions 27 or so. Box score in an hour!
Re: Robcards' All-Madden sliders for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise
I swear I am not pulling a fast one here, I expected Rams to win 28-27, and the Lions ended up winning 28-27. I am not predicting a score after the game, or messing with the sliders or anything at all during the game, these sliders are just that good! Anyway, as expected it was a shoot out between Bradford and Stafford with tons of passing yards. This is actually the most yards I've seen in a single game, about 1000 combined between the two teams, but considering how bad Lions and Rams pass defense is and how good their young QBs are, it's not unrealistic at all, and in fact was expected. This was one of the closest games I've played yet, if the Ravens-Chargers game I played earlier didn't validate my sliders, this one definitely does. That's twice now I nailed the final score on the head, mixed up the winning team though but still both amazing 1 point games with a crazy 4th quarter. I was actually way under my point projection for this until 3 touchdowns were scored in the final minute and a half of the game, one of the best games of Madden I've ever played. If any adjustments need to be made, it might only be that the min speed threshold should go up a bit, keeping a close eye on the amount of big plays given up, not touching it for now as this game was a rarity.

How you can be accurate with the qb on these settings i dont know haha i know orton is inaccurate but wide open post routes and at halftime he's 4/19? Yeah sorry haha im gonna have to bump up the qb accuracy
