Sliders vs Progression

If I'm not mistaken, doesnt this year's Madden alter performance ratings on a game by game basis? (in Franchise)
So, if in my first game, Tom Brady throws too many Interceptions because my sliders were off, that would alter further results as I would try to fix my sliders to alleviate that issue.
So my sliders would constantly be changing and I.E. "Chasing" the progression from the previous set.
Am I making any sense at all?

i somewhat get what your saying. i suggest trying to find a good set u like, and try to keep it (around the same) through a whole season that way u dont throw 3 picks in 1 game and 0 for the next 9 etc. try to find balance then maybe restart franchise or start season #2.

What I did was use Play Now to work out the sliders before you start the franchise. With no hot or cold streaks, you should get very close to accurate stats, such as throwing 50% completions with a mediocre QB against a good pass defense, or getting 5+ yards per carry with a good back against a shoddy run defense, etc. So once you have the sliders where you want them for realistic numbers, you start the franchise and when someone has a bad game you know it's because of a cold streak and not because the sliders.
