What do the Reaction Time Sliders do?

I'm trying to adjust my sliders and wondered what exactly does the reaction time sliders effect?

I guess I'll have to be the first one to figure it out since nobody knows.

Well Andy, I think those sliders dictates how fast the CPU defenders read your plays.

The higher the reaction time (to the right), the slower they are to read and defend your plays..

Re: What do the Reaction Time Sliders do?

Wouldn't that be the other way around?

Higher = quicker reactions?

I think it seems to impact they distance from which a player can be from a play (or the ball) and still move to make a play on it.

Also seems to deal with change of direction, especially in man coverage, and maybe recognizing pass in the first place (not falling for/recovering from play fakes)

Might be a modifier to the PRC rating.

I was JUST messing with this slider last night in practice.

Higher means they have a greater reaction time (longer).

I like it set high because it makes the passing game open up a little and seem a little more realistic , to me anyway.

I also found that lower Pass Reaction slider meant the defenders reacted faster. However the other way around for Run Reaction...

I found the same thing you did. Increasing the CPU's Pass Reaction Slider made them react slower although increasing the CPU's Run Reaction Slider made them react faster. Next I'm going to try and figure out how that works for the user's sliders.

Very interesting.

Higher is supposed to make it easier to execute in that regard, so if rookie puts run reaction at 100 - and it makes defenders react slower...

Bug? Or is there some reason you want guys to react slower on runs?
