Re: TNK - Custom Franchise Sliders

TNK - PATRIOTS FRANCHISE

Game #5 of The Season

It's a battle of unbeatens as the 4-0 Jets travel to Foxboro for an AFC East showdown with the 4-0 Patriots. New England faces a backup QB for the 2nd consecutive week as Mark Sanchez is out 6 weeks with a Torn Quadricep. The teams traded field goals early and the score was 3-3 after 1 quarter of play. The Patriots took advantage of a critical fumble on a punt return by Kyle Wilson on his own 8 yard line in the 2nd quarter and Tom Brady hit Rob Gronkowski in the back of the end zone for a TD to give New England the lead 10-3. The Jets cut the lead to 10-6 with a FG and then the Patriots drove down the field and extended their lead to 17-6 on a Benjarvus Green-Ellis TD from the 1 yard line right before the half. Tom Brady was on fire in the 3rd quarter as the Patriots marche don the Jets defense and capped off a drive with a TD pass to Wes Welker to make the score 24-6 with 4:00 remaining in the 3rd quarter. New England added a 44 yard FG from Gostkowski to make it 27-6 heading into the 4th quarter. There was no scoring in the 4th quarter and the Patriots win 27-6 to move to 5-0 on the season and take sole posession of 1st place in the AFC East.

Chad Ochocinco had his best game of the season as he caught 7 balls for 84 yards. Although he didn't score, he made a few key catches on 3rd down to keep drives alive.

The Patriots defense was outstanding in this game. Every time the Jets seemed to get a good drive going, the Patriots seemed to come up with a sack or a big stop. The Jets were without Mark Sanchez though which certainly helped.

The key play of the game was the fumbled punt return by Kyle Wilson inside his own 10 yard line when he should have called for the fair catch. The game was tied at the time and the momentum shifted to the Patriots after that play.

TNK - PATRIOTS FRANCHISE

Game #6 of The Season

The Patriots welcomed the Dallas Cowboys to New England in week 6. The 1st half was a battle of field position as the Cowboys got 2 field goals and the Patriots scored on a Tom Brady TD pass to Aaron Hernandez to give New England a 7-6 lead at halftime. Benjarvus Green-Ellis was able to punch the ball into the end zone on 2nd & goal late in the 3rd quarter to extend the New England lead to 14-6 heading into the 4th quarter. The Cowboys had 1st & goal on the Patriots 1 yard line to start the 4th quarter and Tony Romo hit John Phillips for a TD to cut the lead to 14-12, Dallas failed to tie it up on the 2-point conversion. The Patriots drove down field on the ensuing drive and Stevan Ridley ran it in for a 2 yard TD to make it a 21-12 game with about 7:00 remaining. Stephen Gostkowski added a FG with 1:52 to play to extend the Pats lead to 24-12. The New England defense knocked Romo out of the game with 0:55 remaining as they registered their 7th sack of the game. Dallas was able to pickup a TD on 4th & goal as Tony Fiammetta ran it in for the TD to make it 24-19 with 20 seconds left in the game. Dallas would attempt the desperation onside kick but the Patriots recovered the kick and Brady would kneel down on the ball to run out the clock and escape with the victory and head into their bye week with a 6-0 record.

* The Patriots ran the ball right down the Cowboys throats in this game as Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Stevan Ridley combined for 179 yards rushing.

* The Cowboys could not control the inside of the line of scrimmage as Vince Wilfork and Albert Haynesworth recorded 5 sacks in the game.

* Jason Witten missed the game for the Cowboys with an injury

TNK, these are good sliders, except Tony Romo acc at 14 sucks to many off target passes, he should be around 64% not 55% also, the hum running game is not the best, i was avr about 2.3 not good, besides that, they play well for the cpu.

The CPU Romo Accuracy is 86.....the HUMAN controlled Romo is 14 - he had a bad game, the Patriots defense was amazing in this game.

If you look at all 6 games I've played so far, their have been high scoring, low scoring and medium scoring games - it's been exactly what you want, despite the 6-0 record.

I don't have a problem running the ball - try hitting the holes a little quicker

Re: TNK - Custom Franchise Sliders

TNK - PATRIOTS FRANCHISE

Game #7 of The Season (WEEK 8)

The Patriots come off their bye week and travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steeler in a big time AFC clash. The Steelers drove the ball all the way down field on the opening drive to the Patriots 1 yard line for 1st & goal but the Patriots defense held their ground on the goal line and forced the Steelers to settle for a FG. The 1st quarter would end with Pittsburgh leading 3-0. The Patriots got on the board with FG of their own to tie the game 3-3 with 9 minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter. The Patriots got a late FG in the 2nd quarter to take a 6-3 lead. Pittsburgh was driving in the 2-minute drill when Ross Ventrone picked off a Roethlisberger pass which led to Brady driving the Patriots 2 minute offense into scoring position and tacking on Gostkowski's 3rd FG to give the Patriots a 9-3 halftime lead. The Patriots finally got the games 1st TD as they were pounding the ball running up the middle and then went play action and Tom Brady hit Chad Ochocinco over the top in stride for a 50 yard bomb of a TD pass and a 16-3 lead midway through the 3rd quarter. Pittsburgh was driving again on the ensuing drive when Sergio Brown intercepted Roethlisbergers pass deep in Patriots territory and the 3rd quarter would end with New England leading 16-3. The Pittsburgh defense came up with a huge play early in the 4th quarter as Lawrence Timmons strip sacked Brady and the ball was recovered by Brett Keisel on the Patriots 23 yard line. The Steelers settled for a FG from Joe Nedney to cut the deficit to 16-6 with 10:49 remaining. The Patriots finally put this game away with 2:34 to play when Danny Woodhead took a handoff, broke out a tackle and busted loose for a 64 yard TD run to put the Pats ahead by a score of 23-6. New England made it 30-6 when Devin McCourty made a great play on the ball for Big Bens 3rd INT of the game and returned it 19 yards for a TD. The Steelers added a garbage time FG in the final seconds and the final score would be 30-9 as the Patriots improve to 7-0 on the season.

* This was easily the most fun and intense game of my season thus far. It was an absolute street fight full of hard hits and big plays by the defense. Both offenses had to earn every single yard and I had to get very creative with my play calling. The game was close and I never felt secure until the very end when Woodhead broke that long TD run.

* Stevan Ridley left the game with a dislocated ankle and will miss a few games. Rob Gronkowski was knocked out of the game for a little while but returned later on.
