Could you post your exact sliders agian?? and what to do when you start the game idk.

O ok I understand. You want to work on every single thing little by little. Um what do you have set for now thoe just 85 for fumbles and 0 for interceptions? And everything else at 50?? And do you put only 1 controller in the middle or 2 with the exact same sliders?

No problem! I don't mean to come off brash but what ever you're doing versus what I've altered since my first post here, is definitely IMO two different things.

Here is what I did from the very beginning.

On the main menu, (not franchise) go in and reset all sliders by pressing Y.

Then, go into game options and select All Pro
I'd leave speed threshold alone or EA's Robo QB and Captain Comeback goes into full effect late in games.
12 min. quarters.
Game speed normal

Sliders are for both cpu and player skill

Everything at 50 except for pass blocking which I now have at 85, interceptions at 0, and fumbles at 85.

Save settings now!

Enter Franchise mode, not play now. Load your roster or whatever you have to do. Choose "New Franchise".

For the sake of this test, shut off all injuries.

Sim the preseason.

Enter week 1.

First game is obviously New Orleans @ Green Bay. Start your sim there.

Go to league schedule in the hub, select the game unless you already own the Packers and then when you're at the team select menu, don't move the controller. Leave it as is. Let everything play out including intro. Make your special teams selection and when the ball has been kicked by you or the cpu and is in mid air, pause the game and move the controller back to the middle. Hit A and then A again to resume game. Let it go.


I'm not saying you're going to get a perfect game every time from these but I haven't seen these out of whack games yet that you speak of regarding interceptions or crazy yards.

Again, my general focus at this point is controlling int's and sacks. I'm coming up with substantial stats though in this process.

Here are the top stats worth mentioning from the last test.

New Orleans 25
Green Bay 13

Offensive stat leaders worth mentioning

Brees 24 -41 for 339 yards 2td's no int's
Rogers 20-29 for 274 yards 1 td and 2 int's

(the only game with multiple picks for one team in 24 test games)

Sproles 20 att. for 87 yards 0td's 4.3avg
Grant 16 att. for 53 yards 0 td's 3.3avg

Jennings 6 catches 109 yards 0 td's
Henderson 6 catches 104 yards 0 td's

Sacks
Green Bay 2 Mathews/Lee
New Orleans 3 Jordan/Vilma/Robinson

Give this a shot exactly as I've explained and feedback, please.

So far, so good. 2 min left 3rd quarter PIT @ HOU and not one interception! Also worth noting, I started out controlling PIT, and they are getting trounced 29-3. So apparently the initially controlled user team does not always win. Sacks are still a little high still even with pass blocking @ 85. Perhaps a big comeback is on the way. Stay tuned . . .

Update:
PIT lost--sacked 10 times. Big Ben just kept holding the ball. HOU on fire. Is this typical? Now I started with an existing franchise file. Would this have an impact perhaps? Starting a new franchise to check.

Update 2:
Started new franchise with ATL control. Played first game with user controlled NO @ GB (CPU). Switched after kickoff return to CPU v. CPU. This time no sacks on opening drive for NO unlike what happened to PIT. Good game so far. Initial but perhaps hasty conclusion: this may not work with existing franchise files but certainly too early to tell.

I haven't found the option to turn this off in franchise. Odd thing is, its off on the game options main setting because I turned it off but I can't seem to find where it is in the franchise to turn it off.

Let me know where to go and turn that off if you can. I may not since this is going so well. But it would be nice to know anyway.
