In 2 games the CPU has missed every FG.

The various CPU settings are just for people to pick how they want to rate the CPU. Nothing wrong with just going far left and far right. Whatever works for each player!

Thanks for trying them Trojan Man. I'm glad you had a good game. I'll keep an eye out on the warping/deflections. Thanks for bringing that up.

It looks like the FGs might have to be tweaked. Trojan Man, did the FG miss left/right or just always short?

NP man. First off, I got a really good first impression from these sliders. Player matchups really seem to matter, and there's a really great balance, especially with the pass rush, which is in my opinion the hardest thing to get right with this set.

Regarding the warping, the game after the one I posted, I threw 6 INTs in a single half with Josh Freeman. I have to say that I definitely made some bad reads, but I want to see if a lot of those close throws turn into warp INTs or if it balances out in the end. I only threw 1 INT with Rogers.

The FG issue was a mixed bag. I saw one shanked right, one left, and one short. For my part, I made a 42 yarder with Robbie Gould, but it didn't look all that convincing. He's got a pretty good leg, so there might be cause to bump the power just a little, idk. I do like that the sliders don't make FGs from anywhere automatic, which has been a problem in Madden for a while.

I can't figure out where to set the CPU ST sliders separate from my own. All I'm finding is one global tab. Am I missing something there?

I'll play more tonight and post stats.

I had a great 13-7 game using GB vs. DET

Rogers went 13-22-59 YDS and an INT
Grant ran for 16-48, 3.0 AVG
High receiver was Driver with 3-51
Hawk nabbed 9 TT
5 team sacks, 3 from the LB spots! 1 pick 6

Stafford went 21-38-253 1 INT
Best went 20-95, 4.7 AVG
Young nabbed 8-128
Megatron nabbed 5-64
Tulloch had 8 TT
2 team sacks

The one thing that stood out is that I had 12 pass deflections. They felt warp-ish. DET only had 2. I'm thinking the INT slider needs to come down just a hair.

On the whole, though, this felt like a really balanced game--first time in a long time where I felt like the pass rush for the CPU was just right.
Rodgers 13/22 for 59 yards? Is that a typo? ....

I used the User and CPU(U) - same sliders on both sides.

Holy crap - that's bad.

Maybe it's best if the CPU slider matches the User's for INTs. That would be an INT slider of 35. I could try to come up with a formula for the AI, but for now, probably best to match them up. I had an inkling this might happen when I put that 65 up there, but I didn't think the 31 catching would work either.

I guess it's a sign the QB ratings matter? Rodgers is a notch above Freeman, so I bet that tipped the scales a bit on those close calls...

Yeah, that's why I hate to change it but it looks like it's needed. No NFL kicker should really struggle to hit from 42 in terms of distance. *sigh* If the AI was better at kicking...

Unfortunately...you can't. EA has combined them for whatever reason. So what you're seeing is the only ST Sliders. I need to clean that part up.

Edit: Cleaned up the ST Sliders.
