Okay so Im not sure if the ea servers crashing on me messed this up but the first time the broncos were blowin me out.
Some notes.

DRC was coving the slot reciever and picked off 2. But in honesty it should have been more Peyton hit him in the back 3 or 4 times. Of Manning's 4 one was by my other corner and another was a well player user pick with my LB.

Once I got up it seemed like playing man and rushing the edge was all i needed to do. He would either throw the ball away or throw a pick.

Their running game was really good. Although I stayed in nickle or dime the who second half.

Rush defense seemed better early on but most of D.Browns carries and yards came in the 4th.

Overall it was still a close game with them scoring at the very end to make it look closer. Just wish Peyton played better. On to the next week.

edit: I forgot to mention me being sacked 9 times. Most were 1 or 2 yard losses tho and totally my fault but good to see.

How many games have you played? If you continue to struggle lower the CPUs rush defense to the green set and let me know how it goes..

I see them from time to time. Had a CPU controlled CB in my last game do it on a 10 yard slant route. It was a legit call, too, because my CB had his back to the passer. You will most definitely also get flagged for PI if you personally commit it.

It's rare but it's definitely called when it happens. I think the issue is that the CPU players tend to avoid penalties (except holding on kick returns which seems to happen about half the time). It's a fine line because just as coaches get frustrated about penalties, EA doesn't want Madden players to get pissed because of stupid CPU players committing a lot of penalties.

Also, I believe penalty sliders are for the sensitivity of the refs to make the calls, not for the frequency of the players to commit the penalties.


I haven't seen offensive PI yet though in Madden 13.

Yeah I'm going to start looking into the USER INTs.. I was trying to keep them the same as the USER catching but if it's going to be an issue with the CPU throwing a bunch of INTs per game I definitely need to lower it back down..

Im the same but im on the green set with Block shedding at 25

Any run play i call BJGE gets stuffed for losses i havent had a run over 5 yards in 4 games. CPU seem to just always blitz on runs and i cant do anything!

I also cant defend the run everyone i play against rushes for about 6+ yards per carry

But still leaves him at 8 carries for 14 yards on the game...

Yeah I'm sure it happens from time to time but it definitely needs to happen more.. You should be able to adjust the sensitivity of it with the sliders so guys can't complain about it being called too much. Guys will complain regardless but it needs to be fixed..
