By the way so many interceptions are dropped by my players. What is up with that? I try to user catch them and they drop them a lot.
I don't know man. The USER was getting way too many INTs with the slider above 30.. Hopefully you start getting some picks..

Re: Jarodd21s Madden 13 All-Madden sliders

2nd game with penalty adjustments....awesome. 26-23 win in OT over Bengals. I feel that with these changes the CPU playcalling is so much better....more 1st down throws than I was playing against before and balance is still there.

Big Ben was 21-34 for 333 and they ran it 29 times with McGahee and Moreno, but only for 64 yards. Before the changes I saw a lot of 1st down run, 2nd down run, and even 3rd and medium/long runs out of CPU. Also, it may be I'm just throwing into coverage more in these 2 games but another 3 picks for Matty Ice.

Overall it just feels like the CPU is a little more aggressive especially on 1st down which makes it tough to play defense against....I used to just blitz on 1st down every time but now I'm mixing up man and zone coverages along with a blitz sprinkled in if I think the time is right. If there is one downside it is that there are basically no more penalties but I'll take that with the kind of games I've gotten so far.

Oh, and for whatever reason there were about 12-15 injuries in this game, none of which were too serious but that was quite a spike. I'll keep an eye on that over the next few games. Loving the gameplay sliders still....I'm now 5-3 using the red set with this fantasy CCM.

Re: Jarodd21s Madden 13 All-Madden sliders

Against the 49ers I win 24-23 (Another 1 Point win)

Tony Romo: 23/37 442 Yards 3 TD 0 INT 62%
DeMarco Murray: 8 Rushes 17 Yards
Miles Austin: 11 Receptions 223 Yards 1 TD
Dez Bryant: 4 Receptions 99 Yards 1 TD
Jason Witten: 4 Receptions 71 Yards
Kendall Hunter: 2 Receptions 18 Yards
Lawrence Vickers: 1 Reception 13 Yards
Josh Cribbs: 1 Reception 18 Yards 1 TD

Alex Smith: 11/14 159 Yards
Frank Gore: 17 Attempts 91 Yards TD
Brandon Jacobs: 6 Attempts 28 Yards TD

Held them to just 277 total yards. I had two fumbles this game however that cost me potentially 10 points. Getting a little bit better adjusted now.

How many plays per game are you getting?
I wouldn't say i'm struggling with one throw in particular. I think i've mentioned before, the post corner probably gives me more big plays AND results in more picks than my other throws. High risk high reward i suppose. I have thrown quite a few picks on slants to my TE when the MLB has suddenly jumped the route when it looked like he had a couple of steps - occassionaly my QB has completely let the the throw get away from him on this route, overthrowing in direction of route significantly resulting in pick. Poor accuracy probably not helped because i don't have an elite QB yet. I'm starting to throw low a bit more on this route if my player is not wide open and this is helping a lot.

I probably haven't run it enough, especially late in games. When i've been up by more than one score i can get a bit careless trying to boost xp by running up the score. I think the urge to boost xp is partly responsible for the high scores. With user accuracy on 3 its definitely a challenge but i'm enjoying it. Fairly confident i'll finish season with more TD's than INT's.

Not sure exactly how many plays i'm getting IN TOTAL. I'll pay closer attention. I can work it out for offence. Through 9 games i have 418 pass attempts and 135 rush attemps. 61 plays on offence - about right for the NFL?

Looks like you're still wanting data Jarodd so I might as well give you some! Number of plays in brackets (it could be wrong in Weeks 1, 2 and 3, Madden doesn't show Steven Jackson's stats for the games he played as I've traded him, really annoying!).

See they were still pretty balanced with the playcalling. I've seen alot of games were they were 50/50 with the playcalling but some of those teams should have been passing more. When I played Dallas Romo threw the ball 40 times and they only ran 14. I've seen some random games and that's why it would be hard for me to believe the penalty sliders are affecting the playcalling like that.. It would need to test a lot of games just too see..

Good win man.. You'll keep getting better. You just have to keep messing around with plays.. How much game clock are you playing with? The amount of plays combined with you and the CPU is kind of low..

Yeah that post corner is definitely a high risk, high reward play. I'm always looking to come back to me 2nd or 3rd read on those plays because you can tell when it's going to ne covered after the snap.

Yeah 60 plays a game is on average. Is the CPU getting close to that too? It should be around 120 combined with both teams.. That's counting sacks, FGs, and punts too..
