Re: Jarodd21s Madden 13 All-Madden sliders

Have you used these sliders using bad QB's? With Locker I feel like I can pretty much never throw to anyone who isn't wide open and even then he misses them about half the time. I've tried using the left stick and even went to practice mode for a while, but some throws just seem destined to fail every time. I even made the cpu go in punt return and tried throwing a streak without the left stick. 20 tries, 20 overthrows. Then I tried just slightly puling back on the stick and every throw was severely underthrown (one that would be an easy pick in a game). Even plays like curls and deep fades Don't seem to work. For example, in a fade against the cover 2 where the receiver beats the CB off the line and the S is still down the field and well away from the receiver, my results go like this:

No left stick: Abysmal throw, overthrows the receiver
Left stick: Abysmal throw, INT by safety
Up: Abysmal throw, INT by safety
Right: Abysmal throw, INT by CB
Down: Abysmal throw, INT by CB

The route I've had the most success on is curls, but only when I don't use the left stick and doing that pretty much makes it a crapshoot as to whether or not the throw will be good, and only if the receiver is wide open. Throwing over the middle, even to open receivers, is almost impossible because I can't trust that the ball will be fit into tight spaces on a consistent basis. I feel like the left stick often causes the pass to change direction to extremes.

Any advice? I don't want to up the QB accuracy because I'd like to play with the full black set. I'm just wondering what you have done when using young/inaccurate QB's.

Re: Jarodd21s Madden 13 All-Madden sliders

These Sliders are great. Never been able to play on all madden, but have found all pro too easy of late.

So having given your sliders a chance. And really, the game has never been so close. I've started a career with the Raiders. So far played 4 games. All been within one score. Lost 3 of them, sadly. But it's pretty exiting.

Allthough, I find it pretty easy stopping my oppononent, especially on the run. But I'm having problems moving the ball down the field consistently. But what can you expect. It's the Raiders, and I'm getting a ton of injuries on Key players. I'm gonna try and see how the season unfolds, and maybe a small tweak is required, when a full season of stats is available.

I haven't tried using an inaccurate QB with the accuracy at 4. I'll check it out when I get home later.. I'm sure it's tougher which is how it should be but not impossible to have success. How long have you been using the left stick? You might have to raise the USER accuracy to 5-6 if it's that bad for you.

What's going on man? Glad you are enjoying the sliders so far. Definitely keeo me posted on how your season unfolds and I'll help you adjust the sliders after that. Which set are you using by the way?

When you changed the USER INTs to 18 did you also lower the USER pass reaction to 57? Why did you raise the USER breaktackles so high? Aren't you having a lot of success rushing? Also did you lower the USER fumbles to 15? Remember you have to keep each USER category at 75 or lower or else you ruin the whole gameplay... You should have got with me about the changes you wanted to make. I could have gave you some good suggestions...

A few things. There's names here I'm sure you don't recognize, but they are thee ones who I drafted. As you can see, my Kody Arias QB is extremely accurate so i had no troubles passing, I just made two dumb throws.

This game, however, was amazing. I quickly went up 21 to 0 and thought your sliders were a joke. Boy was I wrong. After a key fumble I find myself DOWN with a minute and a half left. Talk about crazy. Fortunately I had an awesome game winning drive and things worked out. I must say, these sliders are great. I only have a few qualms with this set:
  • I feel the kick-off power is too short. I have Legatron as my kicker with 97 kick power. However, even with 6 MPH wind at his back, I could barely crack the endzone. Granted, maybe it affected it some since it was raining, but he would be able to kick that thing out the back in real life.
  • Fumbles. Maybe it was a flukey game, but man, that ball was popping out everywhere. I can't make a move with the R-stick without fearing a fumble. Granted, again it was raining, so that could have skewed things.
  • Sacks. Again, this is probably something you can't control and something that EA screwed up on, but my guy just broke the single game record with seven sacks. Again, I never use him. In fact, I never switch off my MLB, even when the ball is in the air. This kinda stinks as it makes things realistic, but I'll just roll with it since there's nothing I can do about it.

Overall, amazing game, great sliders. I love how it keeps things realistic for the most part. I was able to run my three back system and I got nice numbers from it. My receiving numbers were realistic. All in all, great game.

Yeah the gameplay can be a little out of wack in the first game after tweaking the sliders but your next few games should play out good. Which set are your using again?

Damn you scored quick to win the game after the CPU came back to take the lead with a 1:25.. I hate the CPUs late game logic in the last 2 minutes of the game..
