i am struggling to stop the run, any tips or slider tweaks i can make?

First game on Red Sliders. Restarted 3 times per recommendations. I handled the Cowboys in a bad way. A bogus 80 yard run by Lynch and a questionable fumble by AP were the only things that kept it from being a demolition at the half.

Game story: Von Miller is a murderer. Cowboys were surrendering outside runs/ screens all day to Peterson.

-Send blitzes
-Pinch your D-line
-Pinch your LBs

If you suspect an outside run and theres 3 TEs lined up on one side, you can move everybody that way too. (You'll get burned by a counter though)

Also if you're like me and not good at stopping the run with a user LB, then take over a safety and line them up behind a LB and support from there.

Which set are you using? You definitely have to make plays with the player you are controlling on defense. You have to make the right line shifts with your Dline and LBs. Call some man blitzes if you think they are running so you can get alot of guys flying to the ball. You have to be creative and you can't play conservative against the run..

Yeah you dominated this game.. Play about 2 or 3 more games and if you continue to have an easy time you definitely need to jump to my blue set..

this game was really all about defense untill i finally was able to get a redzone td. haha looks like mcnabb came back to the vikings to put up some christian ponder numbers. next game against new york jets

Okay I made one update to the Black set.. I lowered the USER accuracy back to 3. I had it at 3 a while back but decided to raise it to 4 when I found out the CPUs pass reaction was backwards and I wanted to adjust to the tight coverage with there pass reaction at 0. The acccuracy at 4 is good but I felt it was time for me to lower it. My passing has felt a little too good in my 2nd year since I adjusted to the CPUs pass reaction being at 0 and I felt I needed a better challenge. In a few games where I won confortable I would put my low accurate backup in and still throw the ball around pretty good.
