So I played against Ben Roethlisburger and the Steelers in the Super Bowl. It was a long and hard fought game, but I eventually prevailed, winning by a score of 38-30. The Steelers went up on me early with a first play from scrimmage 80 yard bomb TD to DeSean Jackson, to which I responded with my own 76 yard TD pass to Dez Bryant. The Steelers then put together a solid drive on me to score another TD and on my ensuing possession, Trent Richardson cut a beautiful 71 yard run up the middle through the tackles, only to fumble near the sideline at the 5 yard line right into the hands of the guy that tackled him (EA could work on that a little, the defender stripped T.Rich, fell underneath Richardson's body, 'physics leaked' through the 200lb guy sitting on top of him, got to his feet, and made the recovery all before the ball went out of bounds. This whole feat took less than one second to happen, kind of wish I had saved the replay but oh well). I managed to shut the Steelers down offensively for the next two quarters while I made my way back into the game and eventually won through solid, safe passing (mostly) and more T Rich runs.

I've already progressed through the postseason, so my team looks a bit different now.
I got rid of starting O linemen Eric Wood and Donte Calloway in favor of some guys who would free up some cap space. I also jettisoned my 2nd string TE Rico Rose, my starting FB Bruce Miller, backup QB Colin Kaeperknick, 3rd string HB Nate Kirk, #5 CB Jamerson Kirk, #3 SS Nate Allen, and my return specialist Daniel Harmon. I needed to make room for some excellent incoming talent in the draft.
Speaking of which, I managed to get a few guys to replace what I lost. I drafted athletic Qb Pharoah Philips to replace Kaeperknick, FB's Rock Cardenas and Matu'u Tuiloma (both 80+ balanced, SS development), DeShawne Whitmore who has now replaced Taiwan Jones as my #2 HB, WR Jonathan Miller (83 Speed receiver, SS development, 95 return rating), and RE Antione Bellamy (85 Speed rusher, SS development), so my draft class turned out very solid.
In order to address some other issues, I acquired LG Randy Lichtensteiner and inserted my backup Center Gino Gradkowski into the line up. I also saw that Jermaine Gresham didn't accept any of the free agency offers he was made, so I picked him up for my #2 TE spot and I grabbed CB Dre Kirkpatrick out of free agency as well.
My team for next year (and the full black sliders) looks like this now.
Offense:
QB: Konnor Shepard (97) – 3rd Year
RB1: Trent Richardson (94)
RB2: DeShawne Whitmore (83) – Rookie

TE1: Darone Griffin (89) – 2nd Year
TE2: Jermaine Gresham (84)
WR1: AJ Green (92)
WR2: Dez Bryant (92)
WR3: Mustafa Spain (90) – 3rd Year
WR4: Jonathan Miller (76) – Rookie
WR5: Marcus Richardson (73) – 2nd Year
Defense – (Base Cover-2)

so in the off season i did not get mike wallace or jared cook but i did get RT in jeff otah. in the draft i trade up to the 8th pick and got WR brandon yarborough(80). he will play on the other side of sydney rice. i got a MLB which i never wanted. i ran out of time in the draft on my pick. hes got a 73 overall and i got a nice ROLB(67) in the 6th round. hes got low awareness but everything else is 80+. i did not get a good te in the draft or free agency so that hurt a bit but maybe a trade later on. ill start posting stats when the regular season starts
Im looking for a qb after romo hes like 35 or something but im going to wait to the middle rounds and i have an idea on some kid from oklanhoma state he has a star dev i think and his onply problem is dac and i have 3 first round picks and definitly this center from syracuse harvey crooker he got star development 85 rbl 85 imp 81 pass block 80 awr hes been the guy i wanted all year hes predicted to go late 3rd but i think ima take him in the second or first im not waiting on him his only downfall is 81 str and im also looking at this fs early 3rd round nice ratings and fast dev and i mighht add a rb being that brown didnt resign i have like 20000 scouting points so ill see who else with those
Yeah you definitely need to start looking or a QB to develop.. I have a QB on the team right now I'm trying to build up but he has a long way to go. He had a super low overall but his arm strength was 99 and his speed was 85. I let him play in a few games for me when I was up..
Congratulations on the superbowl win.. Seems like it was a very hard fought game. Damn your team is super stacked. Haha! I can't wait to see how you do with the black set.. Are you going to play with the USER accuracy at 3? I been testing out the accuracy at 2 and 1.. So far I'm doing pretty good with it so I might be dropping it down to that very soon..
Hey Jarodd, Just finished my season with the Broncos (Black Set)
My record is 8-8 Didn't make the playoffs
Peyton Manning was a beast this season - 4,610 passing yards 40 tds but threw 16ints and completion % was only 56% he got sacked 49 times YIKES
With the off-season here I need to address My O-Line (specifically my guard play) and I need to get some new safeties and Defensive Tackles
Demaryius Thomas had 72receptions 1,123yds 4tds
Jason Hill had 69receptions 1,006yds 12tds
Eric Decker had 68receptions 778yds 3tds
More guys helped out but those 3 were MAJOR for me
McGahee 266attempts 1,180yds 4.4avg 7tds
Kinda upset that I didn't make the playoffs but I got next year
and Peyton was Offensive AFC player of the year
Yeah those stats were good.. You need to cut down on the sacks though.. Haha! Hopefully you address all of those needs so you can have a better team for next season..

Sucks you didn't land M.Wallace but at least you got a good WR in the draft. What is his speed?

Definitely going to try it at 3. I don't feel it will be fair any other way.
