Yes, 10. 6 thrown by me, 4 thrown by them. The 6 picks i threw was just bad passes, and my fault. Also because my QB is horrible. The 4 they threw might seem like too much for 1 game, but in the previous game i didnt get any interceptions. So i had 1 bad game, and 1 really good game. Do you think this second game proves i might be too good for the sliders im using? Or is it still too early to tell?

Yeah don't count the return yards just your rushing and passing. Yeah play a few more games to get a bigger sample size. I'm not suprised by the picks though. The last time I used the 50-25-0 USER pass defense I was getting a lot of picks but I didn't have the CPUs pass set up like I have it now on the black set. So far I been getting INTs at a decent rate with the 55-20-0 setup but they do drop some wide open picks they shouldn't sometimes. I'm just worried they will have a hard time moving the ball through the air if I change it to the 50-25-0 setup. I also don't wanna average 2-3 picks a game.

But play a few more games and let me know how it goes..

The steelers came to town and it was a back and forth HIGH scoring battle.

By the half i was up by 10, by the end of the third they were up by 10.

With 4 minutes left in the game i kick a field goal to put me up 33-32.

Then first play after the kick off, i get my first and only interception, and kick another field goal, bringing the score to 36-32.

They get the ball back, i get 2 sacks off of blitz plays (knowing there were passing obviously) and they punt.

I stop them again, forcing the turnover on downs, and i kick another field goal. 39-32 now.

They get the ball with 1 minute left, i force another turnover on downs, and i win the game. So my defense came up big for thier last 4 drives.

As far as stats go this game, it shows it might not have been as close if i didnt turn the ball over 4 times.
I rushed for 106 yards, they rushed for 94. (pretty close) But,
I passed for 358 yards, they passed for 161.

That was an intense game I see.. Stats were pretty good too besides the CPUs passing.

close game. i made alot of bad throws resulting in 3 interceptions. under 2 minutes i threw a pick then i ended holding the cardinals to a 3 and out. i then drived down the field and got the game winning field goal. cardinals did help me in the last drive with a face mask and a roughing the passer.

Ok so 4th game. I go to mile high and face the Broncos and peyton manning.

Game starts off with them going up 10-0. Then i drive it down the field, 1 yd run by AP gets me 10-7.

Then they break 2 tackles that would have resulted in a run-for-loss, and get a 65 yd run for a TD. 17-7

By the half its 17-14. I come into the 3rd and kick 2 field goals, they answer with one of their own. 20-20

Now its about 4 minutes to go and i go to my running game a bit more, they cant stop it and i score 27-20.

They get the ball, i shut them down, and with a minute left they turn it over on downs. Instead of QB kneeling, i throw a pass and take it down the field for a touchdown again. Figured id mention this because if i would have kneeled like i should have, the score would have ended with 27-20.

Final Score 34-20 win.

AP rushed 34 times this game for 159 yards, not bad.
In total, my team had 188 rushing yards, 182 passing yards
They had 115 rushing yards, 180 passing yards.
No interceptions were thrown this game. I fumbled once with my QB.

I started on your Green settings and I was gonna ease my way into it since I have not played Madden much the last year or so. I think what I am ding wrong is not shifting my line and leaving too much to the AI. A habit I got in a long time ago where i Just picked a D-lineman and stuck with him for the play. I am doing that in Madden 13 and all I see is the guys behind me getting run over.

I am gonna take your advice and see what happens. When I posted it I thought it may be a slider thing. But since them I am now convinced it is me that is just total suck at defending the run.

Your defense stepped up big for you in this game. This was a nice defensive struggle.. What's your record now?

Yeah I'm thinking about turning roughing the passer down 1 point. I been seeing it called a little too much. Mainly against the CPU which ends up keeping my drive alive sometimes..
