I drive down the field, and on 3rd down I hit one of my receivers for a 1st down on the 1 yard line but he suddenly gets hit and then fumbles. I'm raging because at the least I can get a FG and take the lead while also running off some time. I get the ball back with 1 minute left and no timeouts and drive down the field yet again(one of my receivers fumble again but we somehow recover), so I get into the redzone and a FG here should be a chipshot right? I milk some clock and let the CPU kick a FG that should have won the game. He misses the easy FG and it wasn't even close.

I guess when Madden doesn't want you to win, you definitely won't win.
That was a crazy game. I really don't know how my sliders work in player mode..

My 4th game with the green settings, overall 0-4 :/..... Now this game was a good game, finally got a pick late in the 4th QTR in the endzone. I started to storm back. 2 down 10 to go i see A.Benn beat M.Clairborne on the a fly route. Freeman chucks it up and gets picked with 41 seconds left on the clock....... Ill try the new setting just recently posted!

I do mix it up between Cover 2 zones, 2 man unders, 5-6 man blitzes.... i do spread my line out when i think its a pass play....

You also need to press your DBs sometimes when you come out in 2 man under coverages. Mix in some cover 3 too. Press your DBs everytime the CPU is in the redzone. You have to really pay attention to what's going on out there. Your pass defense should be much better with the 50-25-0 setup especially on the green set..

When you say that YOU play great run defense, do you mean you set up your defense good against the run? Or do you mean you play linebacker and run and tackle the running back every time.

Because the biggest thing keeping me from these black sliders is the part where you say "You have to be very diciplined against the run and you have to make plays with the player you are controlling in order to slow down the CPUs rushing. "

I dont want my defense to depend on how good I am. I want my defense to depend on how good my players are. I should make SOME plays, but they should be able to anticipate and tackle as well.

But the black settings didnt seem too bad, besides the breaktackle/tackling of course.

What I mean by that is you have to play your part with the player you are controlling. Some guys usually hurt there defense more then help by crashing to the wrong area or opening up lanes for the RBs with the Dlineman they control. They expect there CPU control players to do everything. They will still make plays for you if you are calling the right stuff at the right time..

I don't make every play but I am a playmaker with the guy I control. I have a beast MLB who wreaks havoc on his own(I got a highlight video of him coming soon).. I also put my guys in position to make plays against the run by shifting my Dline or LBs to the area the play may go. Shifting your Dline or LBs plays a huge role in stopping the run. Alot of guys like to call there plays without making any adjustments then wonder why they are getting killed by the run. You have to use strategy and I have a pretty good scheme for stopping the run..

Re: Jarodd21s Madden 13 All-Madden sliders

Had a pretty exciting game against the Bengals. Dalton was throwing well, couldn't get Gresham contained, Green burned Revis a few times and Hillis wasn't completely pathetic. Had the game under control until the 4th quarter. I had to punt and the Bengals scored the touchdown. Then I had to punt again. Few plays later the Bengals were driving down the field when Jake Olson forced the fumble on Hillis. At that moment it was 24-24. Then I made a terrible decision on 3rd down and threw a pick in the redzone. There wasn't much time left and then Green burned Revis again and the Bengals were on my side of the field. Hillis broke a few tackles, got a first down, Dalton got a completion en the Bengals were in FG range with 40 seconds on the clock. They kicked the fieldgoal, it was good and Carter got the ball back with 34 seconds and no time-outs. He threw a 25 yard completion to Hill, who could not get out of bounds. With about 15 seconds to go I sent everbody deep. Then Carter completed a big pass to Hill, who got out of bounds at the Bengals' 25. 27-27 OT. I won the toss and chose to receive. On the kickreturn Kerley fumbled, lost it and I thought the game was over. Then the Bengals chose to pass, I was roaming around Green with my SS Evans when Dalton threw the ball, to Green. I had the user INT with Evans, my first of the season. A couple of plays later Turbin set up the gamewinning FG with a 25 yard run. 27-30.

Re: Jarodd21s Madden 13 All-Madden sliders

Played the Cowboys at home devasting loss to a very beatable team. Defense and rushing game were great all game, struggled to get anything going in the pass game(Nicks is out this game and one more after it.) thus wasting good field postion time and time again, a 56 yard Walsh FG in the first half hit off the crossbar. A JJ fumble on a punt set up their go-ahead TD. I threw 2 fourth INTS on chances for tying scores. including one inside the 15th, which was just a horrible decsion due to trying to avoid a sack an the second one was my last drive down by 7(they hit a FG as time expired to make it 20-10) I had a guy open, but made a bad choice in loping the pass and accidentally threw it too far upfield leading to a pick. After the bye I get Spiller back(signed him off fa earlier and he got hurt on his first PR) and he will take over as returner and Nicks returns. I'm now 3-5 and play the 3-5 Bengals on the road.

The CPUs passing definitely got going this game. I told you it was probably because you had those other areas so low.. I don't know why it's like that but you can definitely see a difference in the overall gameplay once you start adding more points to the CPU sliders.. Keep me posted man.. Looks like you might have a tough finish to your season if the rest of your games play out like this..
