Jarodd sent u a message abt thresh just curious how it works? if default is 50 lowering to 0 will that create more seperation with speed?

Threshold at 0 makes the players play to their speed ratings. The fast players will be MUCH faster than the slow players. At 100 make every player the same speed.

Normally you want it at 0 for realistic gameplay and not see a DT run a RB down 10 yards down field, but the sliders I've been playing at has it at 57 and works very good. As sometimes if it's at 0 the CPU pass coverage isn't as good as it is with a little higher threshold.

Just got stomped on by the Packers on the blue set w/ green numbers. Not sure why considering my last game went so much differently. Obviously not every game will be the same but this was near impossible for me. Still non-existent running game for both squads, and B.J. Coleman managed to look like the actual Aaron Rodgers.My 2 QB's were a combined 11/24 with 1 TD and 5 INTs. Ridiculous. Will update tomorrow.

The increase to CPU INTs really hurt me bad. If a ball was anywhere near a defender it was picked. I had 5...a couple were definitely just bad throws, but 5 is still excessive. A couple were just unrealistic.

The increase in CPU pass block killed me as well. Went from 7 sacks on 0 pass block to only 1 on 30 pass block.

Increase to CPU run game was not effective as I still shut them down no problems.

HUM run game was better. CJ2K still got his yards as I busted a long 70 yarder.

Saw a few HUM INTs which was nice. Been getting like 1 a game ever since Early Release...nice to see 3 in this game with settings pretty much being same in that area.

CPU missed a few FGs, so I still need to tweak my special teams.

I still need to work on my passing, as I'm making bad throws into coverage too often, or throwing before the receiver is ready in his route. My comp % is too low but that is more me than sliders.

Anyways, I see promise in where these sliders are going.

Yeah you can lower the CPUs INTs to the blue set.. I'm going to roll with that intensity.. Having the INTs like that forces you to throw the ball away sometimes or take the sack or else you'll pay for it if you force the pass. There's not many gamers who use the throw away feature.. I know that for a fact. Most good NFL QBs throw the ball away instead of forcing the pass..

Yeah the CPUs rushing is horrible.. TB had negative yards against me.. I'm going to go to the extreme with that slider.. I'm going to lower the USER rush reaction to 0 and raise the CPUs runblocking to 100 and see what happens.. If that doesn't work then we have to wait on a patch.. I wanted to stay up all morning testing but I'm burnt out from work so I'm going to get some rest then wake up in the morning and get busy with this.

Through 6 games here are some of my stats:
Joe Flacco 240 ypg 64% cmp 12 td 5 int
Ray Rice 84 ypg 4.2 ypc 3 TD 4 carries of 20+ (though one was right at 20)
Anquan Boldin 64 ypg 2 TD 4 drops
Torrey Smith 57 ypg 2 TD 6 drops 2 catches of 60+ yards
The drops may be a little high (Q had 4 all of last year) but everything else looks solid. Flacco is having the best year of his career but I don't think it is unreasonable.

I do have a question though. I noticed that you favor break tackle as opposed to run blocking. Any particular reason? I have better results by lowering BT and putting the points in blocking. I think it may be because I use Rice and he is better at eluding defenders; I just need my line to create that little bit of space. Does your method work better with bruiser type backs?

Haha! Yeah you don't have to go that high with the CPUs INTs if you aren't comfortable.. It does force you to be 100 percent focus on every pass.. I have to have it like that to slow down my passing..

They reason I have the rushing set up like that is because I like to have the USER breaktackles matched up with the CPUs tackling. Just lower the CPUs blockshedding if you need the holes to open up a little more for you..

Yeah they need to do that ASAP... The CPUs rushing is horrible.. I'm pretty much getting everything else to play out ok besides that..

Interesting.. When they were talking about All-Pro I thought they were talking about All-Pro sliders with the point system which is a no no for me.. I might check that out with my sliders when I get a chance but like I said everything is starting to play out ok besides the CPUs rushing..

Yeah it seperates the faster players from the slower players. When the threshold is higher it creates a higher chance for slower players to catch up to faster players in certain situations.. It doesn't necessarly make them all the same speed but it does close the gap of seperation..
