Have we figured out officially how to make user pass defense harder? (meaning, do we lower the slider for the user or raise it to make it harder).

Lower it to make the Pass D more difficult for both the user and CPU

Ok so just to make sure I have this right (im a little slow sometimes)

Right now I have USER pass reaction at 75 and CPU pass reaction at 95

If I want to give up more yards on MY defense, I LOWER my user slider, and if I want to pass for MORE yards (make it easier for ME) I raise or lower the CPU slider?

Thank you for your guidance on this

Have you tested that? I know about the user pass d reaction being backward. I did not know about the CPU one being backward too. That would an awesome find.

The reaction sliders this year seem to be just that. I don't think they are backwards, just misunderstood in a sense. The rush defense reaction is the same way. Increasing both sliders lengthen the reaction times, lowering them, vice versa.

Makes sense to me.

I gotcha. That does make sense

I will try CPU pass reaction at 65 (your setting) and see if I struggle more

That would make sense if when you changed difficulties from all pro to all madden, those sliders went down instead of up for the CPU.

I'm not saying your wrong, and I see what you're saying, but it certainly doesn't make much sense to me.

So theoretically, if I put the user pass reaction on 90, the CPU one on 50, and user rush reaction higher I would make user DB's slower to react to the pass, CPU DB's faster to react to the pass, and user rush defense would be slower to react?
