After fumbling 4x in my first game. I almost upped the rating for less fumbles, because I have only fumbled once before playing that game, but in my second game. I didn't fumble at all, so I will keep it. Just assuming it was a bad game.
My stats for Game 2 were realistic as can be. I will continue playing with these sliders. I might look at the interception slider as I've had numerous wide open User Pick opportunities, but they would just bounce of their hands. I'll see how that plays out further through the next few games.
Thanks for the feedback from those two posts. Looking forward to seeing how your season goes. Also to the last guy, if you want to raise the int's that's cool but, I based these on testing. Anything higher and a player that I changed the ratings to have 0 catching was still getting interceptions.
Charter, your set is the first I've thoroughly tested so I will try and provide as much feedback as possible including box scores. Here's my most recent game: Bills (user) Patriots (cpu). This was done in Play Now with speed set to VERY SLOW.

Gameplay:
- Number of plays looks good. You want between 120-140 combined and this on 15 minute quarters works great.
- CPU Rushing attack and passing attack can be dangerous, especially against lesser defenses. Might even have to improve User rush defense and crank User pass defense to 100.
- User running game is no challenge at all. Everyone will have to tweak this to their liking but as you can see it was no issue at all for me.
- I like the amount of broken tackles. It seems perfect so the CPU can actually break a few big gains.
- I didn't see any turnovers so you might want to up fumbles back to 50 or 40. I'd be careful toying with the interception slider as it seems to be a pick fest this year. I tested this game with interceptions at 20 for both teams.
Special Teams:
- I like what others have said about punt accuracy. You might want it at 75-100 for both to keep games interesting. The CPU can't locate punts well at the current setting.
- Lindell missed two 50+ yard field goals. He came up a few yards short on both with max power. He has a 89 kick power rating. Gastkowski on the other hand had no problem with distance as he knocked two 40+ yarders with a 92 kick power rating. 45 may be perfect but also may need to be brought up to 50.
- I've test accuracy numerous times in practice and 30-35 seems to give the appropriate amount of misses
Penalties:
- I set all penalties to 100 to get the ball rolling on finding perfect settings. With all set to 100 there were 24 penalties total. Here's the breakdown: 10 Holding, 7 Face Masks, 1 Roughing the Passer, 5 False Start.
- Note that there were ZERO interference calls, as usual, and that there were no clipping calls, which is usually the #1 penalty called in EA football games. Not so at 100. Also there were no offsides even though the line did a jump-the-snap animation all the time. Kind of weird...
- What's also interesting is how skewed the penalties were to the CPU. Just bad luck? Possibly...
- You want to average between 4-10 penalties a game, with some games higher or lower. With False Start at 100 the penalties between offense and defense should balance out. Here's my reccommend settings for now:
Holding - 55
Facemask - 65
Everything else at 100
Intangibles:
- Stamina seems perfect for now at 60. It's hard to live with this setting since auto subs are broken but we'll deal with it.
- Injuries need to be set at 25. At 50 I would see between 5-7 injuries a game. At 25 you see between 1-3. This most recent game had 2. Still testing though.
PHEW! Sorry for the long winded post, but I hope the feedback helps!!!!

PHEW! Sorry for the long winded post, but I hope the feedback helps!!!!
Awesome feedback! This is the type of detail I am wanting. I am glad someone tested the penalties because I didn't want to. LOL. Love the injury feedback as well. I will probably plug these in and go with them. Also the human run game seems to be the speed of game your playing. Very Slow makes it easier to run than normal in my experience because you have more time to react. You might just need to lower the run blocking. SECelite told me that he went as far as about 5 -10 on human run blocking and they were still pulling and overall blocking correctly. I wouldn't go that far but you could lower it some until it gives you the right challenge. Also the fumble sliders works were lower gives you more fumbles so you might want to lower the CPU and User fumble slider. Be careful lower the user one though. I guy a few posted up had 4 in a game. I don't think he was covering the ball though.
Overall your feed back it great. I am really glad these work with very slow. Keep the feedback coming it's very helpful.
great slds but looking to get my users sacks i use the D line all the time and seem to be getting pancaked alot any tips?
thanks
If you used the right stick move all the time it happens more. The problem is I don't want sacks to get out of hand so it can be a little bit of a challenge with these. The reason is because the CPU can't double team like in real life. I realize that most elite pass rushers would get by most Tackles one on one but, if you could do that in this game you would get way too many sacks. So I would just give it some more time and see if you can get better. Don't be afraid to blitz or send the safety blitzes.
"Pass reaction 50-90/85 (There seems to be a glitch when user pass reaction is turn down too low were the CPU runs 80% of the time.)"
Does this mean it's between 50 and 90, or does it mean we change it from 50 to 90?
When I first started testing I was unaware that the user pass reaction time slider seems to be reversed. I had it at 0 because I thought it would help the CPU passing game. Instead it made the user coverage tighter and the cpu hardly ever threw the ball. I moved it to 50 on a hunch and it made all the difference. I personally was still seeing the CPU not pass as much as I would like but, other users have loved it at 50. Some guys have had the CPU throw 30+ times every game. I raised it to 90 in my own tested and I liked it. I put 50-90 because its just what ever works for you. I would try 50 for a few games and go from there. Also if you do go all the way up to 90, some have even went to 100, then you might want to lower the CPU accuracy.
