Yeah my first game with these sliders vs the packers was a close game too. Game play felt solid during both games. Felt like a normal NFL game. There was only one long scoring play. I usually buy madden for offline and was pissed they didnt have fantasy draft. I'm use to playing games where I either blow the other team out by the 3rd quarter or put it on all madden and cant even score. When I played all madden in madden 12 I could barely move the ball down field.
The games not fun when its either too easy or to hard. These sliders seem to have really changed the game. Real penalties are being called, less turnovers, and closer games. I use to play madden on 7 minutes. I now realize 15 minutes is a whole lot better. If your down by a couple touchdowns in the 4th, you don't feel like you have to keep throwing the deep ball to score quickly.
Hey guys- just looking for some feedback on this game and what I can do to adjust.
Please ignore the CPU rushing stats for this particular game; with these sliders, this is the least I've ever had them run the ball. Chicago was down a considerable amount in the third quarter and started running an all out vertical offense to try and recoup the score(and they did.. the 4th quarter was a heart attack). I also had 3 fumbles in this game.
As far as my offense, this is pretty typical of me with these sliders. Steven Jackson has a stamina rating of 98 in this game, so he rarely if ever comes out on his own. Besides that, the fatigue at 60 works very well for me. Is there anything I can do to get Isaiah Pead some carries without manually putting him in each time?
I run all over defenses typically in the second half. They stuff me big time(in the first half of this game I had 2.3 YPC, then just started mauling them in the 2nd).
I run a pretty conservative west coast passing offense, a lot of dumpoffs and drags/comebacks. I DO NOT cheese the CPU. My one interception was a beautiful play by Charles Tillman on an out route vs. Danny Amendola, where he jumped the route and made a great play on the ball. I definitely could have prevented the INT by going to Jax in the flat.
I love the way the CPU QB plays. I am seeing very few INTs these first few games, but with these sliders I've played against the likes of Rodgers, Brady, RGIII(god that was a nightmare), Stafford, and Cutler, so I'm thinking it's just staying true to the ratings.
Without further ado, this was my box score for this last game. Any input?

Sometimes when you have a guy with that high of stamina you just have to sub during play calling. I'm sure a few real back in the NFL could go longer without being taken out but, coaches want to make sure they don't get hurt over the coarse of the season. I just sub my second string guy in manually in the play call screen and keep him in certain packages. You also might what to use an auto sub with RB's. 80 out 85. Also what user pass reaction number are you using and are you playing your game in online ccm?
I'm looking for CCM online sliders that are good if your not the qb? I'm doing just RB's and it seems user teams qb play is lacking.
I don't know if these will work very good if you just control one player. You might have to use 8 min quarters with no clock run off. When you sim the other plays it can get crazy. Like 70 to 50 crazy. I haven't used these in the one player mode at all.
I just bought the game last night, watching college football all day, so have not had a chance to play yet.
After reading a lot of posts, could someone explain how the sliders are effecting or work with online/offline CCM?
Have there been issues with the sliders saving?
They work best in online ccm. Also I haven't had any problem with it not saving them. One time it happened when I changed a few sliders then went into auto subs and change those a little then I reset the auto subs back to default and when I went back and looked at my sliders it went back to before I made the changes. The sliders didn't go back to default though. Something about hitting the reset to default button. Hope that made sense. LOL
What is the 'RB' Button? Is it the 'embrace' button?
And do you guys really play a game with 15min a quarter? Damn. I play 7min a quarter with 15s accelerated clock. How long it takes to finish a game playing 15min a quarter with 20s acc clock?
The RB covers the football. your player will cover it with two hands. Yes 15 min quarters work great this year. In real life games teams get about 120-130 plays combined. 15 min quarters with 15 seconds left gives that. It takes a little time but, it just depends if you want real stats or not.
Went back to 50 PRC and MIN ran a very balanced attack...
They still were "run heavy" as they should be, but the playcalls were more varied (screens, draws, deep routes, etc.) and the execution was better...
I still won, but I'm about 2 adjustments away from "Final"...
Great base!
Thanks again...
Off topic: Is there a transaction screen for the rest of the league somewhere in CCM?
I'd assume it's in "More", but I keep looking and can't find it...
Thanks again, Charter!
Glad your having fun. I don't know about the transaction. I am on a trip so I don't have access to my 360. I am in preseason game one of my online ccm and haven't had time yet to look at all the features.
