I played my next CCM game. I entered the new sliders and I believe they went into effect as the game seemed to be running slower. The 2 picks were stupid reads on my part. The first happened when I was on the Seattle 10 yard line in the 1st quarter. I should have won by 10 more points.

I used the first set, with the following changes:

CPU QBA: 40 (too low)
CPU RB: 60 (not bad!)
CPU Broken Tackles: 63 (Not sure if I like it. Michael Bush had 9 broken tackles at half, but I was playing as the Colts).
CPU INT: 30 (threw 2 in the first half, both very legit, great coverage, pressure made me rush).


HUM Catch: 50 (had 2 drops in the first half....again I don't user catch, nor do I take control until possession).
HUM Run Blocking: 45
HUM Broken Tackles: 40
HUM Fumbles: 20
HUM INT: 30
HUM Block Shedding

I'm exhausted, and golfing tomorrow so I only played a half. Score was colts 10, Bears 0.

General Thoughts: The bears in the first half ran the ball 19 times for 68 yards (Bush had 14 carries for 57 yards alone). Cutler at QBA 40 was ehhh, 40% and only twice pushed the ball downfield.

For the human, Running was absolutely harder, but again, I was the colts. I threw 2 picks and had a fumble lost in the redzone, as I put up 238 yards in the first half of total offense to the Bears 108.

What I liked: Both my interceptions were legit, nothing cheap or strange about them. The WR drops. There were 3 drops combined in the first half between the teams. The CPU was able to run the ball, and seldom did the first guy bring him down, unless it was a DL guy or a LB with a high rating such as Angerer. Andrew Luck is deadly accurate, even at 10. Indy's OL sucks as the Bears had 3 sacks in the first half, and only 45 yards rushing.

What I didn't like: The CPU's passing game. I had 3 turnovers, and the numbers say that in the NFL if you're -3, you lose 90% of the time. I don't think I was going to lose this game.

Questions: Is the QBA for the CPU tied into their aggressiveness? With the half I played at 10, and then this one at 40, I saw QB's who A) were very inaccurate, and B) almost 90% of the time threw under 10 yards.

what plays into whether the QB pushes the ball down the field?

Like I mentioned before I think the first set of sliders was really damn good. I had tight games, I had blowouts. I had games where the CPU dominated me in TOP and in yards. I had 3 games where I had to score in the final 30 seconds to win.

I think a knockdown of HUM runblocking (maybe not to 45, but 47?), broken tackles, and help the CPU a little bit on their sliders kicks it into gear. I'm just not a big fan (nor have I been a big fan) of dumbing down one side to achieve a perceived difficulty. I want realism. I want realistic animations, yards, actions, stats, # of plays. Is it realistic that Seattle goes 15-1? Absolutely not, and I'm as big of a Seahawks fan as there is. Is it possible that Seattle goes 9-7 or 10-6? Sure damn is. Is it possible that Lynch runs for 2k yards? No, but that's the autosub thing that isn't working properly and we all know it.

In that 15-1 season, Lynch averaged 27 carries a game. Very realistic. He averaged 4.6 yards per carry. Probably .5 too high, but it's close. Leading receiver had 78 catches...that's good. He had short of 900 yards. Very nice. Leading tackler had 127 tackles. Perfect for a MLB. Leading interceptor had 5 interceptions. Maybe low, but not obnoxiously low. Leading Sacker had 19 sacks. Clemons has that ability but he's a 12-14 sack guy, but not completely out of the realm of possibility. My punter averaged 43.7 per kick and 17 times inside the 20. Both right on par. The kicker was 33/35 from FG's. Nothing wrong with that.

The numbers from that first test CCM pretty much are all in line and realistic. The CPU averaged 343.8 yards per game against me. Averaged 262 yards passing, and 81 yards rushing. Nothing wrong with those 2 numbers IMO. CPU averaged 19.8 points per game against me. Maybe a little low, but again, not obnoxiously low. My team averaged 28.9 per game. Perhaps a tad high, but hell it's not going to be completely pure sim.

I just think some minor tweaks to that first set and you're rolling. I mentioned I had games that I won by blow out. I had 3 games where I had to score in the final 30 seconds. I had a 10-9 game, I had 2 26-24 games. I had a 23-20 game, and a 20-10 game. I had a 37-17 win in the super bowl that got out of hand when I knocked Matt Schaub out, but had no answers for Andre Johnson.

I personally like equal based sliders, but I also know that's very very difficult to get and then get any sense of realism out of it, but that first set of sliders is probably the most fun I've had with any football game in some time, and you're right, it was maybe a touch too easy to run the ball, especially on toss plays, but all in all, it was a solid set.

I made some changes to the new sliders. It's funny because I keep edging closer and closer to what I came up with even before posting my first set. That is what I'm trying to do. I really enjoy the first set that I didn't post. I wrote them down and I'm glad I did. I think it was pretty close I just didn't realize how bad the user defense reaction slider was messing everything up. If you try them keep the box score's and feedback coming.

Thanks for all the feed back man. I am not giving up on the first sliders at all. What I really want is to have two legit options. One for the player that is more to may skill level and one for a better player. I just really like slow speed. I am really going to try and get the new ones as close to the old ones as possible with slow speed and a little more of a challenge. That is the goal. If you get time keep trying both.

The Exciting end to the game was:

With the Lions driving in the dieing seconds of the game to try to tie the game up and send it into overtime, they drove it all the way to my 16 yard line. Three straight incompletions took us to the final play of the game. 3 seconds left on the clock, 4th and goal. S. Hill completes a pass to J. Best who scampers up the middle of the field past the first down markers. I thought he was hitting paydirt for sure until my safety got enough of him to make him stumble and he fell down at the 2 yard line. Crazy end.

Henery 2/2 3/3 9 52 The Exciting end to the game was: With the Lions driving in the dieing seconds of the game to try to tie the game up and send it into overtime, they drove it all the way to my 16 yard line. Three straight incompletions took us to the final play of the game. 3 seconds left on the clock, 4th and goal. S. Hill completes a pass to J. Best who scampers up the middle of the field past the first down markers. I thought he was hitting paydirt for sure until my safety got enough of him to make him stumble and he fell down at the 2 yard line. Crazy end.

Awesome game. Yea I changed my OP quit a bit. I have both sets together not. I just have them as a normal speed and slow speed par of sets. I just wanted to give option and I just can't stop tinkering. LOL. I made some changes to the normal speed set too. Thanks for the awesome feedback.

Man I just had a really good game with my slow speed sliders. I played them in offline CCM. I wanted to see how much of a difference offline was from online. I could tell it was slightly more difficult but, over all it was really fun and realistic. I used the Falcons and played against Cam Newton and the Panthers. Here is the box...

As you can see I had to make a Matty Ice Style comeback and Cam faded in the second half like he did some in his rookie season. I really had to work hard to win.

Likes: The difficulty. I didn't feel cheated it was just difficult. I was afraid of Newton and Steve Smith. Smith, who has 96 speed, burned my 88 speed CB badly. I had to make sure he had Safety help the rest of the game. I also couldn't sack Cam to save my life. I would get back there and he would elude me and scramble for 10 yards. He was a nightmare to stop at times.

Dislikes: No To's. This might have just been a one game thing though. I hope every game doesn't end with no TO's. It was a little easy to run the ball at times. Most of it came in the second half and I did have M. Turner. So maybe the Panthers just got tired. My longest run was 18 yards.

Notes: Both teams combined for 120 plays, there were 6 drops (they all seemed legit), There were 16 combined TFL seems a little high.
