Yeah... might be because its raining but even so its overkill.
Even my gameflow has me running out the wazoo.
But I just had an animation that made my day.
Vernon Davis in the back of the endzone he jumped up, caught the pass, and looked down before touching both his tippy-toes in for a TD.....its the little things.
Big games posted by Chris Culliver with 3 Ints including a pick-6, Brandon Jacobs coming in for an injured Gore, and Ahmad Brooks abusing GB's LT for 5 SACKS!!!!
The pick-6 and the Kick offreturned for a TD had the score running high.
I made a few changes to both sets to try and get the user Rushing to be a little more difficult but, I want the run block logic to sill be good. Also made the user pass rush a little less. I am having too easy a time getting pressure on the cpu QB.
Played this game right before you posted the new changes just now. I play in Offline CCM. Play calling I use gameplay. I used the SLOW sliders from the OP. I usually use the NORMAL sliders, but figured I would test the slow ones. Here are things I noticed:
- User running seemed too easy. Beginning was difficult, but by the 2nd half I was just carving up the defense.
- I didn't have any bad drops, but Miles Austin (AI) had a lot of wide open drops.
- The Cowboys punter was terrible. I don't know if he is just really bad in the game, or if it was something with the sliders (I doubt it). But look at his averages. I was starting on my own 40 yard line or closer the entire game.
- I felt like I could not get a good passing game going. My receivers were so slow at running routes. They would be half way through their route when pressure would come, or I would be sitting in the pocket for what seemed like ages before they would finish their routes.
- In the 4th quarter Dallas had it on my 20 yard line (so in the red zone) and I was winning 17-13 with 11 minutes left. They decided to GO FOR IT on 4th and 6. They didn't convert and I took over on downs. Then later in the 4th, with 3:30 minutes to go the Cowboys KICKED A 53 YARD FG and missed! They were down by 13 points! This made no sense to me and it pretty much ruined the game for me haha.
- Overall the game felt like it was dragging along. Maybe it is me not being used to the slow speed, but slow is what I used to always play on in other Maddens.
- Still it was kind of challenging until the 4th quarter where it seemed like Dallas just stopped playing defense.
- Still digging these sliders though I will try testing out both some more. Right now I am leaning towards normal speed.
Like any Slider set, people will dismiss them because of one game, or a quarter or too small a sample to see the effects.
So i thought I'd post some stats based on the first 7 games of my Cowboys Franchise. This hopefully will show people that over a season, the game does play very well.
I played based on the slow set(prior to today's tweaks by charter) with my own tweaks.
Same as original Slow Except.

SIDE NOTE - I have changed the positional schemes to fit the players I have and it DEFINITELY has an effect.

This is the kind of solid feed back that I enjoy getting. You really do get a better feel for things after about 5 games. I'm glad you posted this. I'm glad you are 4-3. Ha ha. That is what I want with sim set. I don't want to win every game.
