First game is in the books...you wanna talk about realism? Take a look at that score. 44-16. Week 1, Ravens vs Bengals in real life? 44-13. Guhdamn.

Some key points from the "Wiz List."

*No sacks for me, Ravens picked up 3. 2 were coverage sacks with me just looking around like an idiot, the third one Pernell McPhee just made a nice move to throw off his blocker.
*Was a little worried about drops when I saw the slider set at 47, but there were only 3 drops in this game, all by my team. But, when you throw it 52 times cause you're getting blown out, drops are going to happen.
*There was definitely an ebb and flow to the game. For example, I was making a drive down the field at the end of the first half, got to just outside the 20. The game is still fairly close at this point, 17-3, so I'm feeling good. Suddenly, my recievers are nowhere to be found, and I take a big sack. ****. Next play, I'm trying to read the defense when half of my O-line jumps for a false start penalty. That was it right there. One second, I'm on the verge of scoring, the next second I'm backed up 15 yards and can't recapture the momentum of the drive. I ended up missing the field goal and leaving the half at 17-3. Next half I come out and immediately throw an interception, and the game goes waaay downhill from there.
*Like Wiz says, you really need to stay on top of every play, especially on defense. Ray Rice came out running, but after the first drive I was able to contain him pretty well. The Ravens just refused to throw the ball, even with play-action, so I kept crowding the line. Problem was, every so often I would get just a liiiiittle lax, and boom! Rice would pull a juke or a spin and leave me in the dust. Perfect example, start of the 4th quarter I went outside for a cigarette. When I came back in, I guess I wasn't focused anymore, because I comepletely whiffed my tackle. Rice made this wtf spin move, got behind me (I was playing SS) and goes 91 yards for the score. I'm left chasing after him screaming, "Run faster Maualuga, or I'm not paying you your bonus!"

With that said, and despite the score, the game wasn't as lopsided as it appears. It was within 2 scores going into the half, and I just made a couple of mistakes. The only thing that really irked me as being out of my control was the long catch and run Boldin had; he caught a short ball and immediately got hit by two of my guys, but shrugged them both off to go like, 60 yards and a score. Other than that, I just need to work on being more diligent. Can't wait to see what everyone else puts up.

Sweeeet... Great fricking feedback!!!!!

Loved the part about the cig' break, classic....

Keep in mind that I am testing the "penalty-theory", so it is possible that the sliders may get tweaked a bit...

However based on your explanation, it would seem that a few bad decisions on your part, really did you in....

Did you use "GameFlow" for the first two downs, or did you just "freestyle" the entire game?

How about that realism on the final score, eh? I too, had final scores that were "spittin' images" of the final score in the actual NFL game... Scary, as in S-C-A-R-Y AWESOME.....

Regarding Boldin's catch and run... I have noticed in my own games that BIG POWERFUL receivers and TE's will break a big one if you do not tackle them with complementing defenders.... Meaning, if a 5'11" DB tries to take down Vernon Davis, Boldin, Andre Johnson, Fitzgerald, etc., by themselves.... Good F'inn luck... I personally love this because I call this the "aggressive man-to-man" penalty.... Meaning that if you constantly man-up, with no strong support over the top from a strong SS or FS, and a solid tackling LB or Nickel back roaming around in a zone, this play CAN & WILL HAPPEN.... This is why when you play teams with BEEEEEEAAAAAASSSST receivers, you have to consider more Cover 3 & 4 type of defenses with good tacklers on the field... Yes, it will expose you on the running game, but these are the "pick your poison" decisions that D-Coord's make every Sunday in da N-F-L....

Really, really, really appreciate your feedback...

Lates.

Re: M13 KILLER SLIDERS FOR OFFLINE CCM... GUARANTEED CPU RUN GAME

I think I had a cover 2 defense going on with the Boldin catch. He caught right between the zones; I have to say that the pass and catch was perfect. It could have just been poor tackling on my team's part - my FS hit him immediately but kind of slid around him, and the CB kind of tackled more of the safety than Boldin. I'm not saying the catch didn't make sense, I was just mad at the poor coverage and tackling.

Other than that, I was playing Gameflow the entire game, except the final drive when I just started calling run plays. Yes...I gave up lol.

Re: M13 KILLER SLIDERS FOR OFFLINE CCM... GUARANTEED CPU RUN GAME

I got owned all aspects of this game. Early on I thought I had a grasp on what I should do on offense but the more I got behind, the worse I got.
I didn't make it inside the red-zone once this game.

I agree and noticed smoother/realistic catches that I have never seen before, exciting.

I had 1 sack on them. They had 7 sacks on me. Majority simply having not enough time to get the ball out (my opinion of course).

This is a totally different team than what I am use to playing; I don't know if you want me to just be the tester coordinator or continue using the Panthers. I don't want, what could be just my bad gameplay, to affect the sliders.

Waddup pimp.... Jump right in... Why don't you grab the Ravens and dial up these bad boyz....

CAUTION: These sliders are TRUE MADDEN, so the competition is quite challenging, you HAVE TO KNOW football, to win a game... Simply trying to get by with with around the edge runs, curls and slants over the middle, will NOT BE ENOUGH to win ... You have to bring it...

Enjoy them. They are still raw, but very, very delicious. Please note that I may tweak the CPU sliders a bit depending on how they test in the lab futzing with the penalty sliders, specifically, OFFSIDES, DEF PI, OFF PI, and KICKING SLIDERS...

Duuuuuuude you got wiiiiiped..... If you like, go and get the Steelers, and test these bad boyz....

I knew coming into the testing that these sliders were tough, very tough, true Madden sliders...

The stats are true, the play is fair ( if you know how to play football ) and win's will be VERY SATISFYING...

But don't fret... I do have CUSTOM back up sliders designed that I cooked up, just in case, this level of difficulty is too challenging for our collective skill sets... The CUSTOM sliders are more forgiving, in the sense that scoring is easier to come by and playing defense does not require as much strategizing....

Keep in mind that I may drop a "tweak" to these sliders based on the "penalty-theory" that I am testing out....

Lates.

Even though it was a huge offensive game with a dramatic finish in OT I was a bit surprised by the number of interceptions.

Here's what I noted during the game
*First 2 passes of the game = 2 interceptions (one each team)
* second drive NY on 3 and 23, bomb = int at Dallas 22 line
* Ogletree 73 yds TD
*Manning throw 3 int in the first quarter and Romo 2
*Hixon 42 yds TD
* Poor running game in first quarter (Dallas 4/21 - NY 6/4)
*Cruz 68 yds TD
*Manning 165 yds in first quarter / Romo 149
*Huge NY drive at end of first half ended by a bradshaw power run TD
* First half, Manning 300yds / Romo 255
* Rushing NY 9/14 - Dal 6/32
* Austin 80yds TD
* After 3rd quarter, Manning 334yds / Romo 391
* NY rush 17/70 - Dal 11/60
* NY 4th down conversion TD at Dallas 2 yard line with 10:40 left in game
* Romo throw 3rd int
* Next play after the interception, Manning get int. by ware (4th int. by Eli)
* Bradshaw 77yds run TD
* Manning throw his fifth int.
* Romo throw 4th int at NY 15 yard line
* Manning throw his 6th interception
* Dallas ties the game with 11 seconds left 41-41
* Bradshaw make 5 good run plays to get deep in Dallas territory
* Tynes 22 yds FG for the win
* Manning end up with 401yds / Romo 446
* Dal rush 24/112 - NY 32/206
* Bailey FG's 36/49/45/56/27/28/29
* Tynes FG's 43/40/22
* Total plays 160
* Huge plays by superstars (7)
* Bad Qb decisions (10)

I saw some really fluid runs by the Qb's, good use of screen passes during blitzes, Eli sacked once because running out of pocket.

I'll do a couple more games but right now i'm thinking of having both qb's at 5 and lower int to maybe 20.

The game was exciting though, we were exchanging touchdowns and field goals or exchanging 3 and outs but maybe a bit too much passing plays versus running plays. I tried to balanced my game in the second half with more runs and funny thing, the CPU was doing the same. Maybe a little too many big plays..might be the treshold that is a little too low and could be the cause of that yardage from the qb's with around 10 plays combined of 40+ yards.. FG accuracy might go a little lower with bailey getting 7/7 with 3 FG of 45+ that were mostly right in the middle of the posts.

Of course this is only a feedback from one game, not bashing the sliders, i'll keep testing and try to use the real team playbook instead of pass balanced etc...

Sounds good man, starting my game up right now, will give feedback afterwards. Gotta say though, I cringed when I saw the penalty sliders at 99 lol, they definitely do have an affect on gameplay, and I was enjoying the gameplay I was getting with (I believe it was) 25 pci, 25 rtk, and I think like 40 dpi. Then I cringed again when I saw you say use gameflow lol. Nevertheless, using your sliders as posted, down to the letter!
