Instructions for the Beta testers of the Gospel of Madden V.2 Slider Set

The following are things that I want feedback on:

1) Total # of plays after a complete game with these exact sliders

2) Track the mix of runs and passes used by the CPU

3) Track penalties

4) Track cheese fumbles..... Memo to all MENSAS: Carrying the rock only with one hand and not "wrapping up" when about to get popped, or having a QB get creamed by a linebacker at full speed, or getting blindsided as a runner, DO NOT CONSTITUTE as cheese fumbles.... These type of fumbles happen EVERY SUNDAY, watch an NFL game if you must.... IF you are getting to many fumbles, you are not properly carrying the damn rock! I average 1 maybe two fumbles a game with these settings.... HOWEVER, if I am careless, I lose the rock, plain and simple.... With these sliders, YOU ARE REWARDED if you know how to plaster the runner with the ball properly

5) Track completion rates for ELITE QB's vs. MEDIOCRE QB's.... And for RB's, track their YPC and total number of carries....

6) Make sure that "arm tackles" do not bring down the ball carrier, and a BEAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSST ball carrier better be brought down by a posse' and not some scrawny CB using a hand tackle to the thigh....

7) BIG HITS better cause drops or fumbles, 'enuff said

8) Track how often the CPU runnin' game busts a nut on you

9) Track total number of cheese interceptions .... Bad decisions or pressure throws that turn into INT's are not cheese

10) Track the length of punts by boomers like Lechler of the 'Faiders, and the length and accuracy by elite mules like Gostkowski of the Pats....


Always play at least 4 COMPLETE games, and ALWAYS HAVE A NOTEPAD BY YOUR SIDE TO JOT DOWN "ODDITIES" THAT SEEM TO RECUR MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, or SIMPLY JOT DOWN YOUR IDEAS, THOUGHTS, OR SIMPLY A NEW COCKTAIL DRINK YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE....




You did want to beta test these bad boys didn't you? Well get to it bud.....

This list may grow as feedback comes back on this update....

Weird bro..... This has never happened to me.... Are you sure that you are in offline ccm?

Usually when I start an offline ccm, I am asked if I want to be a Coach or Player, and then I am taken to a screen where I manually set a bunch of other options..... Well in this screen, YOU MUST MAKE SURE that you ALLOW the commissioner, that is you on offline ccm, to be able to make slider adjustments.... If you do not set it this way, this could be reason for your dilemma... dunno....

yea i made sure i did that, i do the sliders but everytime i come back to the ccm they reset to 50. idk why

Okay I got my *** Handed to me!

The 1stDown & 2ndDown run glitch was in full effect at the beginning of the game but seemed to go away in the second half. CPU Seemed to call more agressive plays when they went up?? Rivers went 17-27 62% and get this 5 TDs no INTs! Remember most of this was in the second half. Ryan Matthews had 33 Carries for 109 yds 3.3 avg not bad but not great which is okay(Ronnie Brown 4Car 20yds). Eddie Royal was constantly behind my defense 7catches 163yds 3TDs. He would have had 4 but it was called back due to an Illegal Touching Penalty which was pretty damn cool.

On to my side of the ball I was sacked 2 times and had 5 turnovers, 3 of which came in my own territory! I went 17-31 54% 221 yds 1 TD 3INTs with Cassel. Two of the picks were bad judgement on my part but the third id chock up to the pass slider being so low. Might raise it up slightly(8?) and drop CPU INT a little bit(50). The other two Turnovers were fumbles. One by Cassel while in the pocket and the other by my TE Boss who went over the middle and was hit by Bigby. Jamaal Charles had 18Car 69yds 3.8avg. Couldnt really use him as much I planned because I was playing catch up. My Recievers had 4 drops combined(2 by Bowe). May raise catching slightly(48?). Cpu only had 2 so thats fine where it is. Penalties were pretty good too had a couple drive killing holds and false starts while playing!

Defensively I only had 1 sack so I may raise pass rush or lower CPU pass block. A few of the TD passes Rivers threw, my DBs could have made plays on but chose to almost just watch the play happen...so i may raise my Pass Reaction(60?).

Thats pretty much it these sliders are amazing so far and ill continue posting my findings in here for ya bud!

EDIT: BTW any changes you would suggest if I wanted to change my game speed to very slow? I definitely enjoyed slow, but Ive always played on very slow and would like to try this set on that.

FRICKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Aren't you glad that M13 is now going to be a challenge to beat? No more "gimme" wins .... Studs play like studs, and smash hits deliver dropped balls and fumbles!!!

Man you got me PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMPED, I feel like slipping on my old school football helmet (all leather and looks like something out of the movie Fargo) and smashing some skulls!!!!!

The Sabols ( .... "I am not worthy") are looking down from the heavens above and giving me a big THUMBS UP for bringing back smash mouth football to Madden!!

Comments on your stats:

I am also seeing that the CPU #2 RB seems to get better YPC numbers than the #1 starter... Did you try to stop the run and/or were you the Mad Blitzer, I mean how did Rivers thrash your secondary so hard?

Alright well the 2nd game I played was verryy different from the 1st lol

Bears(Hum)- 44 vs Colts(CPU) - 7

Bears
Total Offense - 464
Rushing - 152
Passing - 312
TO's - 2(1 int, 1 Fum)
Penalties - 2-20
Poss: 36:07

Colts
Total Offense - 399
Rushing 112
Passing - 174
TO's - 2(2 Int)
Penalties - 3-30
Poss: 23:53

Forte - 32 Att 134 yds
Brown - 16 att 42 yds
Cutler - 18-36 312 yds 3 td 1 int
Luck - 21-32 206 yds 2 int

Stats seemed to be more realistic. I was able to get some good yards with forte. I didn't really change much though except more inside runs. The CPU seems to have a tough time getting passes of more than 10 or 15 yards. I don't know if the Colts are just bad or what but I just seemed to be able to dominate in this game, they got their only touchdown late in the 4th quarter.
