What a hooot.... I play MLB the Show.... Man that game has gotten addicting.... Probably the absolute best sports sim game EVER created.... If only EA Sports could learn something from Sony...
Re: M13 KILLER SLIDERS FOR OFFLINE CCM... GUARANTEED CPU RUN GAME
I made a new house rule for myself in regards to the USER passing. I was getting frustrated by how easy the Curl/Flat combo play is to complete. You can jack CPU Interceptions to 100, put QB Accuracy 0, WR Catching 40, CPU Pass Defense 0 and still march down the field with one play. I realized no slider will change that and I need to change my own play style.
I like having the whole playbook available to me so rather than going Gameflow or Ask madden on offense I decided I will force myself to not pick the same play twice on any drive as well as never pick the Curl/Flat combo play. I might even extend it to every 2 or 3 drives but for now i'll go with 1.
Just knowing that Curl/Flat play exists makes it hard to not pick it when I really need a 1st down on a 3rd and whatever. House rules make this game so much better and more strategic. It adds to the strategy when you have to decide when to use one of your 'better' plays, should you save it for a third and long or use it later in the redzone?
Anyone have other plays they limit themselves from calling or avoid altogether? Gonna go make a thread about this just sharing my knowledge with like-minded peeps first. I naturally don't call Verticals so I don't have any experience with that and i've found that in the past slant and drag routes were close to money but with the proper sliders they aren't that way anymore so I am happy about that.

So here was my divisional game I mentioned earlier. Got beat by a better Packers team in the end. It was a great game though. Rams got off to an awful start fumbling on the first drive around the 20 yard line to be run back for a td. Rodgers came out and lit the place up in the first half but the Rams D came out inspired after ht.
It wasnt quite enough though. I couldn't get the run established and paid for it in the end.
Beautiful feel to the game though. It ebbed and flowed just like a real game. Momentum seemed to be very important. For example, I was getting some going in the 3rd, with some great defensive play, scored a TD and then just got killed by a bad playcall as Rodgers hit a bomb over the top of my all out blitz! Killed the momentum completely!
A quick note on kick returns - I tuned up the kick off power a bit as I thought it a bit unrealistic that kickers were only kicking it a yard or two into the end zone with full power kicks!
Re: M13 KILLER SLIDERS FOR OFFLINE CCM... GUARANTEED CPU RUN GAME
Gotta say man, AWESOME SLIDERS! Gameplay feels so realistic and got some great stats. However is there any way of changing either fatigue or Auto Sub settings to stop my oline from subbing in all the time? I thought it worked well on D though, good line rotation and guys getting tired on long drives. Another thing to point out is that I think I might be getting a bit too many INT's on D. Just played a game Giants(me) vs Cowboys(CPU) and Romo threw 3 picks, and me 2. I'm not too bothered bout the 2 I threw because I made bad calls both times, but the CPU QB's seem to be total Gunslingers haha anyway gd job man, I appreciate all the hard work you've put in
Re: M13 KILLER SLIDERS FOR OFFLINE CCM... GUARANTEED CPU RUN GAME
If you do NOT use the stick to control the pass, you absolutely have to raise this slider up to 8.
I am completely inept in terms of total control passing, so I don't even bother. I pick a receiver and then use the passer ratings to complete the pass without my help.
Re: M13 KILLER SLIDERS FOR OFFLINE CCM... GUARANTEED CPU RUN GAME
Wow what can I say besides what another great game with these sliders. It was a really tough grind it out game that had everything including a pick six, a punt return for a TD, and a potential hail mary for the win on the last play of the game. Also it doesnt say in the box score but SD 1 sack and Bmore had 0 which was really the only issue in the game.
One quick note on some house rules I used for this game:
1. On passing plays I stuck to one defender, no switching
2. On rushing plays I stuck to one defender until that defender either missed the tackle or got blocked backside (virtually out of the play)
3. On offense I did conventional play calling and tried to mix it up by rarely calling the same play on one drive.
4. Also tried to limit the amount of times I ran to the out side. (About 5 times all game.)
5. On kicking I only used the right stick which can get somewhat interesting.

Thanks for the props bro... Truly an honor to bring joy to all the peeps that follow OS Madden slider threads...
Accolades aside, I do have the INT Slider in the lab for tuning.... CPU QB is throwing an unrealistic number of pics so it probably needs to be addressed and tamed....
Regarding the fatigue factor, if the sub-in / sub-out settings actually work, this would be an area to explore to improve the O-line sub out rate...

Both defenses pretty stingy all game until the 4th quarter. Rodgers put that discount doublecheck on me and lit me up in the 4th.
As you can see running was rather abysmal (once again) on both sides. I just can not seem to get the ground game going. USER run blocking awareness just seems to be in the toilet.
Total Plays: SF (59) + GB (61) = 120 (which is about 10 under NFL avg). I also ran the clock down to :14 and not :12, so I think we need to squeeze about 10 more plays out of the game (at least I do), not sure what #'s you guys are getting?
I do think that INT need to be looked at. I threw 4, but honestly all 4 of them were legit bad (hurried) throws. As for Rodgers' 3 picks, the DB awareness was remarkable (too good, I would probably say).
Going to skip Lions game (week 2), as this is only a test CCM. AT Vikings week 3, want to see if AP can run on the defense.
My 3rd down conversion % has been abysmal in every game with these sliders. It is very tough, and you def. have to work for everything, which is fantastic. Keep up the GREAT work!
