M13 KILLER SLIDERS FOR OFFLINE CCM... GUARANTEED CPU RUN GAME

Just played another in my ravens offline CCM and wow what another great game. Classic Ravens vs Steelers defensive battle. Not stated in the box score is how they won they game pretty much in the fourth quarter where they stopped a late drive by me with the game close and got a 99 yd fumble return for a TD. I was able to drive down the field to about the 15 on the last possession but ran out of clock. Also not stated in the box score is that BAL had 2 sacks and PIT just one.

Rodgers put that discount doublecheck on me and lit me up in the 4th. As you can see running was rather abysmal (once again) on both sides. I just can not seem to get the ground game going. USER run blocking awareness just seems to be in the toilet. Total Plays: SF (59) + GB (61) = 120 (which is about 10 under NFL avg). I also ran the clock down to :14 and not :12, so I think we need to squeeze about 10 more plays out of the game (at least I do), not sure what #'s you guys are getting? I do think that INT need to be looked at. I threw 4, but honestly all 4 of them were legit bad (hurried) throws. As for Rodgers' 3 picks, the DB awareness was remarkable (too good, I would probably say). Going to skip Lions game (week 2), as this is only a test CCM. AT Vikings week 3, want to see if AP can run on the defense. My 3rd down conversion % has been abysmal in every game with these sliders. It is very tough, and you def. have to work for everything, which is fantastic. Keep up the GREAT work!

Pimp: Have you considered the fact that you are the Fourty Fricking Niners (lol) .... You SHOULD be stopping most if not ALL CPU RB's to low YPC and low yardage totals....

Not sure if you caught my post earlier about considering doing your beta testing with a team with an average QB, BEAST RB, average WR's, average line and average D..... My team of preference is the JaxJags... Gabbert is just average enough to really test out the passing part of these sliders, the WR's are just average enough to test drops when getting blasted, running routes, etc., and of course an average D helps you test whether or not BEAST CPU RB's can run within the framework of the sliders....Just a suggestion...

The INT stats are being analyzed in the lab.... Personally, in my games, I don't see as many INT's by the CPU QB unless of course I bring the heat, but nevertheless, the general consensus is that the there is too many INT's by the CPU QB.... That means I have to futz with the CPU WR CATCH slider, the CPU QB ACC slider, the HUM PASS REACT slider, the HUM PASS RUSH slider, and of course the HUM INT slider.... Like I said before, THE SLIDERS ARE NOT LINEAR, they are inter-related, so fixing one issue throws other issues out of whack ....

You have NO IDEA how invaluable your feedback is to help us all find the ideal slider tuning to make M13 rock our 'nads....

My brudda' from anudda' mudda', I appreciate the insight.... I also share your philosophy on avoiding certain plays... The Curl/Flat route in M13 is an unstoppable play, and in addition to that play, I also find the Counter run play has the same effect...

I concur that Slants and Drags are not as "money" as they have been in the past, and yes, this slider set makes them even more inconsistent....

Keep us informed of other kernels of knowledge that can be beneficial in creating a better game experience for us all .....

Instructions for the Beta testers of the Gospel of Madden V.2 Slider Set

The following are things that I want feedback on:

1) Total # of plays after a complete game with these exact sliders

2) Track the mix of runs and passes used by the CPU

3) Track penalties

4) Track cheese fumbles..... Memo to all MENSAS: Carrying the rock only with one hand and not "wrapping up" when about to get popped, or having a QB get creamed by a linebacker at full speed, or getting blindsided as a runner, DO NOT CONSTITUTE as cheese fumbles.... These type of fumbles happen EVERY SUNDAY, watch an NFL game if you must.... IF you are getting to many fumbles, you are not properly carrying the damn rock! I average 1 maybe two fumbles a game with these settings.... HOWEVER, if I am careless, I lose the rock, plain and simple.... With these sliders, YOU ARE REWARDED if you know how to plaster the runner with the ball properly

5) Track completion rates for ELITE QB's vs. MEDIOCRE QB's.... And for RB's, track their YPC and total number of carries....

6) Make sure that "arm tackles" do not bring down the ball carrier, and a BEAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSST ball carrier better be brought down by a posse' and not some scrawny CB using a hand tackle to the thigh....

7) BIG HITS better cause drops or fumbles, 'enuff said

8) Track how often the CPU runnin' game busts a nut on you

9) Track total number of cheese interceptions .... Bad decisions or pressure throws that turn into INT's are not cheese

10) Track the length of punts by boomers like Lechler of the 'Faiders, and the length and accuracy by elite mules like Gostkowski of the Pats....


Always play at least 4 COMPLETE games, and ALWAYS HAVE A NOTEPAD BY YOUR SIDE TO JOT DOWN "ODDITIES" THAT SEEM TO RECUR MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, or SIMPLY JOT DOWN YOUR IDEAS, THOUGHTS, OR SIMPLY A NEW COCKTAIL DRINK YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE....




You did want to beta test these bad boys didn't you? Well get to it bud.....

Score AND stats a bit deceiving as their 2 TD were a 75 yard pass to Harvin (first play of game) and a 63 yard run by Peterson.

I was FINALLY able to establish a running game! Still had to work for my yards, but was able to break of runs of more than 3 yards!

Only threw 1 pick, my fault, in the RZ. McNabb's pick was a horrendous throw right to my DB.

Total Plays: SF (71) + MIN (52) = 123 (still a shade low)

Sacks: SF (2) + MIN (3) = 5

Peterson broke a TON of tackles (7 recorded), which I'm fine with, but Gore broke 0?

I think that the ref lockout ends tomorrow.... This CANNOT continue.... Watching the NFL is like watching M13, sometimes the sh1t doesn't make any sense! Officials should NEVER DECIDE the outcome of a game...



Back to the sliders..... I feel you bro .... I will visit the HUM BRK TKL slider.... Tell me, do you use the truck stick when the tackler approaches you? Just asking because this is how I get my break tackles.....

Just played another fantastic game. I was home against the Broncos (10-3) who's in 1st place in the AFC, while the Ravens are 2nd at 9-5. Peyton Manning didn't play in this game due to a shoulder tear which gave me a huge advantage. I won on a 30 yard TD run by Ray Rice with 47 seconds left in the fourth quarter. DEN fumbled 3 times and BAL 2. DEN had 1 sack and BAL had 5. DEN had drops 4 BAL had 6!! DEN broke 1 tackle BAL 0
