Outkizast's CCM Sliders (All-Pro, Normal Speed)
Hey guys, I know there are a bunch of slider sets out there, but I feel like I have taken a good amount information from each one of them and put them together into a set that I am personally enjoying a LOT. I originally started with Charter's sliders, as he referred them to me, and continued editing them to my skill level.
I am the type of player that prefers SLOW speed, but am currently playing on NORMAL because that it what I was playing on when I adjusted these sliders. I have not tested if they work as well on slow speed or not.
The difference between All-Pro and All-Madden is huge! For some crazy reason, the CPU plays much better and is able to sustain longer drives on All-Pro. The play calling is better, they run the ball better, and they pass to the open guys underneath the coverage more rather than forcing the ball down feild all the time. Don't believe me, try it out yourself.
I am still working on a few of these sliders, particularly USER and CPU Interceptions. I like the idea that you cannot force passes into coverage or you will be penalized, but I don't like the idea of throwing 2-4 picks a game because I get greedy. I would prefer my stats be more on point, and not have my drives killed so quickly in that case.
I will continue updating if I make any changes, feel free to try them out if you are having a hard time finding sliders to fit your style of play.
HOUSE RULES
-I generally don't like house rules. I want to be able to switch defenders when the ball is in the air and try to make a play on it. I also switch defenders when trying to bring down the ball carrier. And when I feel the offense is going to run the ball, the safety I am usually controlling will be crashing the line of scrimmage trying to close up any holes that may open up. With that said, I am happy with what the CPU is still able to accomplish with these sliders despite having to "nerf" your own ability to allow them success.
- The only "house rules" I understand is not doing anything in an un-sim way as far as calling the same plays over and over if they are working. I want my sliders to work in such a way that you can call any play in the playbook and expect success out of it if ran correctly against the right defensive playcall. If I find a certain play to be much more effective than others, I won't necessarily keep myself from using it, but I won't abuse it either. If I have a good running play that a good percentage of the time picks up a couple yards, when it's 3rd and 2 and I'm down in the second half, I'm running it.
So here is what I'm using currently:
Updated: 9/5/12 - 7:45pm Pacific
Skill Level: All-Pro (As stated above, CPU is actually better here than All-Madden)
Quarter Length:15 minutes (I have been playing on 14 min quarters, and get about 105-115 plays a game, upped it to 15 minutes for more realistic number of plays)
Accel Clock: On
Minimum Play Clock Time: 13 seconds (I usually snap the ball at about 5 seconds with this settings, gives a little time for a couple audibles if needed but not too many)
Game Speed: Normal (I usually prefer the game on slow, but have not tested on that setting yet)
USER/CPU
QB Accuracy: 9/65
Pass Blocking: 50/60
WR Catching: 45/55
Broken Tackles: 50/60
Run Blocking: 40/73
Fumbles: 50/50
Pass React: 50/89 (Do NOT lower the Human Pass React, it's working in mysterious ways currently, but I have heard that raising it a bit may cause the CPU to pass the ball a bit more if you were having an issue with that)
Interceptions: 20/37 (Still testing this out, I'm throwing a lot of picks that are actually my fault, but still I would like to see less in the INT stat category, I will most likely be moving this somewhere around 25/35 or so)
Pass Rushing: 48/55
Rush React: 0/50
Block Shed: 35/48
Tackling: 20/49
SPECIAL TEAMS
FG Power: 48
FG Accuracy: 45
Punt Power: 48
Punt Accuracy: 75
Kickoff Power: 50
Injury: 50
Fatigue: 60
Speed Threshold: 52 (I'm not a fan of going to the extreme on 0 or 100 like some people. I think EA put work into the speed of each player and how they relate to each other more than I have the ability to. With the speed threshold too high you have long passes to slow TE's that out run your corners to the endzone. With it at 0, the slow guys are stuck in mud, and I believe they have more closing speed in the real NFL. I usually tinker with it between 45-55.)
I have not adjusted any Penalty sliders to this point and am still in the testing process for Auto Subs.
I will post some box scores after completing another game or two.
Again thanks to Charter, SECElite, Jarrod, BrianU, Jaredlib, and BlueNinja. You have been the ones I have been listening to most while testing and editing the sliders.
