Nice to see that your slider set is BUILT on the foundation I have been preaching since day one, "the Gospel of Madden":

1) HIGHER rather than lower SPEEDTHRESH

2) SLOWER rather than faster GAMESPEED

3) Accurate rosters, with proper roster attributes


I am trying to drum up interest for a roster project, but hey, 2 out 3 in your slider set is tits.

Maybe I can introduce my honey to your honey, give them some scratch and kick their butts to the mall or nail salon, so that you and I can watch more football, play more Madden, and drool about Sofia Vergara personally pampering us in a Victoria Secret teddy and heels.

Wiz you were part the inspiration once you surfaced this year in the slider game and proved the point with much more polish on your english. People found ways and believed. I've always been a high threshold slow speed guy when making my own sliders but never have I published them because after a few attempts people just wouldnt buy into them.

I know with this set Human Run block may need to decrease, and CPU QBA may need to rise while they zip some balls into tight coverage They also have a weird super lead lob while I havent been able to pick it off it just looks like I should be able to make play.I cant get them to take more shots down field. its usually only 3-4 times a game talking throws over 20+ yards. Still a damn good base set in my opinion

But as I play and think the CPU playbooks are unbelievably vague both in the run and pass but mainly the pass. Each team runs curl flats,Corner strike,Slip Screen about 8 pass plays minimum, theres not enough variation in standard pass plays the typical gameplan plays you see the CPU uses. They may use 40 different plays I'd like to go games where I dont see a formation and go oh odds are this play is coming. Really wish playbooks where more scheme and team specific.

Okay, so I was finally able to play another game tonight and I wanted to test out how a match-up of two high powered passing teams would play. I played as the Chargers vs Patriots. Through the 1st half I started to think, maybe these sliders are just not for me. I was able to score at will and if not for a kick return fumble, the Patriots would have been losing big time. I finished the 1st half with a 24 to 10 lead. Rivers was dominate, throwing deep to Gates and hitting slots over the middle at will. Matthews ran the ball for big yards with limited attempts. I was about to turn the game off and go to sleep. Then, I thought maybe I should just finish and see how many points I can put up on the Patriots.

Well, the 2nd half was a different story. Tom Brady worked like a maestro, he could not be stopped. The 1st half I picked him off 2x, second half he threw 3 TD passes hitting numerous receivers. Make no mistake, this game was a pass heavy affair. This was not your fathers NFL, this was the new, pro quarterback NFL. Brady went 38 for 50 for 466 yards 4 TD's and 2 picks.

After me dominating the first half, Tom Brady and the rest of New England preceded to kick my butt all over the field and just as I thought I would escape the game with a victory, Brady leads his team down the field, running his 2 minute offense and scores the game winning drive. I end up losing the game 35 - 31.

So, what this means folks is the sliders work. I do have a few minor issues but, overall the game plays great. When you play against a run heavy team, they will run. Shoot out games are actually possible and stars are playing like they do on Sundays.

My last test is to play as 2 heavy defensive teams and see what type of outcome I will have. Anyways, I am enjoying the game and the slider tweaks.

Leolure, good to see you stuck around to finish out the 14 point half lead. I have had games like that and they feel great. I feel momentum plays a big role with my sliders as well as mainly ratings. Peyton Manning drove down the field on my raiders WK 4 with 3 minutes left and produced a go ahead touchdown but a nice kick return and a few completions set my raiders up for the last second win. My 3rd win of the year all coming in last two minutes. Through 4 games the biggest final score differential is 4 points.

But for the reason you mentioned is why I like these sliders. Stars play like stars, One quarter the game can be clicking for you in everyway the next may switch to CPU. I've been blowing out CPU and they came back with Ben Roethlisberger & Peyton Manning (2 Elite QB's) Elite RB's get their yards in the chunk, lesser backs get yards but don't expect home runs from them.

Still looking to improve my set though did you play on slow speed with newest sliders on front page?

I played with very slow, as stated before, I just like the feel of the game in very slow. It reminds me more of 2k football and even though it plays slow, it helps me read the gaps better when running and I can read the safety's better if going deep.
