Not ONE of those settings coincide with his "theory".
Sorry dude, but how can anybody take you serious, when you can't even provide the correct settings?

Sorry Tomba dude,I didn't mean to hijack your thread,I just thought this was pretty funny.

Actually, the the concepts behind Akita's and Tomba's ideas are identical. Essentially, they are considering all of these sliders from the perspective of relationships to one another vis-a-vis the default design.

And, perhaps I misunderstood your comment, but Akita's settings do support his theory (at least they are setup in conformance with his theory).

And, Tomba...this is pretty exciting stuff. I mean, sliders are pretty much nothing more than parameter manipulators . . .not out of place in a developer's toolkit. This relationship you are offering for speed/threshold makes alot of sense and, now incorporating it within my CCM slider testing, it looks really good. . .thanks!

You beat me too it. I was gonna mention this also, but figured I'd leave it alone. That is that funny math. 1+1=3..lol

Not going to get into a debate here, but if you can't see what's wrong, then you're just as lost as he is.

Re: Tomba's Game Speed and Slider Theory

I really liked the feel of these on slow at 75 threshold.

The problem I had was running seemed too easy with Benson going for 150 yards in the first half against the bears. The cpu seemed to struggle with the run as well. Passing seemed fine and the speed was great for me giving time to make reads etc.

I left fatigue and injury at 50 though and default subs. No subbing for the hb's at all.

If only the running could be sorted out as these felt great. I wish the Packers could run like this but it just doesn't happen.

Too funny. Again, the relationships he points out really make sense and even more so with Tomba's speed thing. Heck, I'm going back looking at some other possible relationships (notably fatigue and injuries..recalling in years past differences in behavior).

By the way, Hum QBA 40 / CPU P R 60 = 100
CPU QBA 70 / HUM P R 30 = 100
HUM WRC 70 / CPU Int 30 = 100
CPU WRC 70 / HUM Int 30 = 100

Pretty basic stuff.
