I have decided after numerous test runs of not seeing what I wanted to give Jarrod's a shot for a bit if not give up on the game.

what about penalties, speed threshold, game speed, stuff like that

I forgot to add threshold, I have no real set penalties like I dont feel they alter the game at all most of mine are a few points above 50 except for holding and the interference sliders. I will add in the threshold while I update the change I just made.

sweet i'll try these out in a lil bit after the game gotta watch my steelers, but i play 15 min qtrs so we shall see how they play out

I think with the 15 minute quarters that you may have to turn up certain sliders like pass rushing, rush defense reaction, and block shredding to stop the run game and a bit of the pass game on both sides. Since I am trying to get them correct for 7 minute games. Only thing I have seen is on 7 minute games no non elite QB tends to get 300 + yards. I might go up on the time to fix that if I can make it so I dont do the same but that is hard.
