sliders for less cpu crazy running game.

i seem to give up 200 rushing yards per game on all madden. hell even when i commit they break long routes. tackling just seems horrible. its the same way for my running game. anybody have any sliders for a toned down run game? better tackling? i mean there is way too many broken tackles in this game.

Lower break tackles. Increase user tackles. Put Block shedding lower by how much you upped user tackles.

For example, if it's:

25/25/25 for the CPU Rush offense - try 10/35/25.

If it's 25/25/25 for User Rush defense, try 25/5/45.

See if that doesn't cut down the broken/missed tackles. Tweak accordingly based on what you like to see, and are more willing to "sacrifice" to stay at or below 75 points (simplest way to stay on All-Madden).

Personally, I wouldn't go much above 40 run blocking on 75 or less All-Madden, unless you want it for strictly the challenge or have a higher block shedding slider (I keep it low to let BSH try to mean more, and to let CPU run block stay lower but have potential success). I think it's too good for the CPU at like 50 run blocking for All-Madden - my high BSH players don't get respected at all and it becomes too dependent on free runners for my liking.

Re: sliders for less cpu crazy running game.

This is what I ended up with after testing from AM default

User
Rush D

Rush D RT:25
Blk Shed: 30
Tackle: 30

VS

CPU
Rush O
Brk Tak: 38
Run Blk: 50
Fumble: 50

Now they can still establish the run, if your
not prepared to stop it. You can see what areas were tuned from AM default and from here all you would need to do is move User and/or CPU +1 or -1 from here and you should find a nice sweet spot sooner.

Note:

I've since changed to what I like to call
All-Madden "Flipped" set

Basically taking the

Default All-Madden
from
Player/CPU
25/50 scale

to

Player/CPU
50/75 scale
(I've been really impressed with the gameplay, stats, and
wide variety of animations on O and D, even getting 3-5 pancakes per gm, keeping up with the league now )

Here is my latest set I've been tuning
