Re: Madden 25 NFL Stats Coach Mode Slider Test

Hi all,

I played a quick game last night with these sliders. I didn't have a chance to copy down the stats (I was in a hurry), but anecdotally the game played very very well. I was the Patriots playing at home against the 49ers. Game was tied at 14 in the 2nd half until Tom Brady went down for the game with an injury. Ended up losing 28-17. It was great to see a legitimate difference in how the offense performed with the dropoff in QBs, and nothing ever felt cheap.

I'd like to include stats on future games in order to help with the testing. How are you all getting the box scores in your posts? I'm new to Operation Sports and don't know all the features yet.

Great job on these so far!

Re: Madden 25 NFL Stats Coach Mode Slider Test

So i am 3-0 heading into week #4 in 2014. Coming off of a Super Bowl win after a 12-4 season. While my sliders made me happy i wanted to try something new as i feel wins come to easily.

I got out to first half leads of 21-0 and 28-7. Gore is out and James had 82 yards on 12 carries. I am thinking here we go again. Rush defense is all wrong.

In the second half Dallas took over and with the exception of a Mike Williams 74 yard TD catch after a kickoff they were all over me. After 3 it was 35-10

I decided to switch out all of my starters going into the 4 and worked the clock well but went. 3 and out three times.

I felt like this was just too easy and then i realized they had 5 starters out including Ware, Bryant, Claiborne. Murray went down for the game in the first.

It bothers me that injuries and penalties always seem to hurt the CPU much more than myself. Until i lost Aldon Smith for the year in the 4th. Why is this guy on my hands team?

Here are my findings.
Rushing still seems too easy
pass offense is awesome! Lots of run after the catch and intermediate completions.
I like the penalties, just wish i got more.
i think the strength of my team and all of their injuries may very well have been most of my issue.
Good job all! I intend to try these for the remiander of my season.

My question is are the first page sliders locked in or have you made any adjustments?

Re: Madden 25 NFL Stats Coach Mode Slider Test

Without going into too many details, these sliders are pretty accurate sans the running game being way too easy for both sides. Just rushed for 2,450 with Shady McCoy in my first year of franchise mode, using EA's opening day rosters. Also won the SB, which really shouldn't be happening with this team, but the run game being so easy contributed to it. If we could just find a way to make run D more respectable, these would probably be the best Madden sliders I've used in a long while. Besides that, be proud of yourselves for these rosters, very, very good.

Lombardi, you gonna post those final modifications you were talking about? I'm curious to see what you ended up with.
